    Morning all.

Plans for today include treating myself to a tea and toasted tea cake in the park when I walk the dogs, some gardening and some listy stuff.

The big question is whether I finally clean the inside of the car today.

    Have a great day everyone.

Didn't want to do bathroom until DS was up so

Printer I can't quite get to work now in car boot for tip
    All yesterday's laundry ironed
Bathroom 'glasses' washed out along with a few other pots
Washing on line - very blowy
    DW emptied
Now doing full level 3 on bedroom -
all windowsill ornaments washed and on drainer
    Bed stripped and remade
    Bin emptied and washed out
    items being homed
    window cleaned
vacuum emptied so I can be (a) horrified at what I vacuum up in bedroom and (b) smug at having a thoroughly vacuumed bedroom
just stopped for a :coffee: and an apple.

I have done dailies, taken dogs to park and had my treat, hoovered downstairs, s&sd the downstairs loo and bathroom, cleaned the inside of the car and done some knitting and reading as I haven't summoned up the enthusiasm for gardening yet. Greenhouse is watered though.

Next I'll do a thorough hoover of our bedroom.

Bedroom thoroughly hoovered. The headboard is noticeably cleaner although I hadn't really noticed the dust!

Going to clean the windows inside next.

Narco - where she is is safe. That's what matters. You've done the right thing.

Thank you. Yesterday much of my flying was helping Mr N take MIL's pictures to the home, as the handyman was going to put them up. On our way back home (having taken MIL for a walk/push) we gritted teeth and returned to do a bit more flat-clearing. We now have a local charity coming next Tuesday to take away .....quite a lot we hope. BIL can't get any time off until 18/19 which is cutting it very fine to remove the items he wants; he feels very badly about leaving us to do all the clearing, but when he asked for compassionate leave he was told 'only for a death'.

Today has been rather stop-start. Before wasting too much time in the conservatory having too long a 'lunch break', I have:
    - been to aqua aerobics
    - found tickets at 47% off for the floral art exhibition we wanted to go to on Friday (My mum is coming up tomorrow and her birthday treat is the ballet on Fri eve; I always try to do at least one other thing in London while we're up there.....).
    - checked train times.
    - had a few email conversations with my mum about our holiday which is approaching too fast.
    - put away some clean clothes.
    - emptied dw.

Now I need to galvanise myself into action, with priority being to continue my huge list, try to re-gain where I should be on the flying list but most of all get the spare room, my study and the bathroom ready for my mum and brother to stay. Meal planning is on the list......
Great; the field at the end of our garden is just being harvested so the house is covered in dust. Just taken a hay fever tablet.

    HH sprint challenge anyone?

    Hi all

Up early to get chilli in SC before work, done 8.5 hrs of paid stuff and have dusted and hoovered upstairs. Need to bring washing in and finish tidying up kitchen.

We were thinking about camping at the weekend but 40mph winds forecast! Might have a change of plan.

Sorry to hear about the anxiety asb, I was really bad a couple of months ago but it has settled down recently. Hope the doctors helped x
  • One freezer emptied, defrosted, cleaned, dried and refilled in a sensible (ie, not Himself-style) order.

I can now see we have no frozen vegetables, I need to make some jam and we really don't need to buy anymore sausages for about 2 months.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.
