Round - what JJTF said - and I endorse the advice to join a union.

Anyway, most of clippings picked up and binned, plus a little stack left in a basket to dry off - if the volume in the bin reduces before Wednesday I'll bin them; or they can wait until next time.

DD and his GF have been together 4 years so have gone out for a meal.

And, once I had picked up the clippings I was still in the mood to get the sewing machine out (It's a Jones, Kazwookie) and I have made one medieval knight's tabard with appliqued cross (first time I've ever done that) and a nice animal print bag for the class mascot to be taken home. So ANOTHER job off the summer list.

Needless to say nothing's been cleaned. :rotfl: But I feel like I have had a good day.

Round... just slap her in the mouth with a roll of duct tape.. Or every time she speaks reply.. if you have nothing nice to say, !!!!!!!.. Or request she does not speak to you because you have no interest in any of the bile she spouts. Union, higher management and don't back down.. report every single thing she does.. but I'm still on the idea of a spycam.

I'm taking a picnic lunch so we may need a tesco run tonight... and we are going out for dinner. Aiming to be in the car for 9am... I am quite deluded, yes!!

A busy day at work and minimal flying - no change there then. I have a number of jobs to do tonight but DD and I are having a movie night. She hasn’t wanted to do that for months so I don’t want to say no. Jobs after Casablanca has finished - love a black and white film and this is a favourite.

Busy day here too, dailies done, errands run, started shopping around for insurance but not yet finished that job. Shattered now so having a sit down.

Round I’m agreeing with others on the union thing. Sounds like a horrible situation to be in and I hope it improves for you soon. MM sounds very much like someone I used to work with!!

Have another load of washing to pop in for the morning, hoping it is dry tomorrow to get it done. We are going to make some plans for the weekend. It’s our wedding anniversary so would be nice to go out and about and not spend the time doing house chores!

Have a lovely evening all x

Oh R. I put up with a manipulative, bullying boss for a long time because I didn't have the confidence to speak out. The only good thing that came out of it is that now I am a boss myself I know how not to do it! Stand up for yourself my love, you don't deserve to not be able to work because of this x

Been at a conference all day then out cycling with friends tonight. Very little flying done but its soon weekend. Have bought DS1 a little slow cooker, he is very excited about this so will probably call and collect it at the weekend.

Huge apologies for today's missin list

I did do one - I had pulled an old list and edited it - unfortunately it's still on the thread it originally came from!

    On now as is Friday's.

    Morning all.

Dreadful weather so I'm going to do baking for a charity fundraiser.

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Morning all,

Persisting it down here but it was forecast so I have planned the day accordingly. DD had a friend for a sleepover last night and not much sleep was had so I'm expecting a grumpy girl later!

    Have good days all xx
  • Morning all, a day of decluttering and tidying for me.
Weather is wet, so I'm thankful there isn't much washing to be done. Every room in the house is a mess (untidy) and the cleaner is due at 12. So I have this morning to get everything ship shape. Kitchen isn't too bad, at the moment - will see what it's like after hubby and Pickle have sorted breakfast. We are simultaneously packing and unpacking which never helps.

Pickle still asleep though, so I'm going to lay here quietly for just a little linger so he can play catch up on sleep.
