    Happy birthday Pixie :bdaycake:

Day off at last. Wooty woot! The down side is that I have to take DD for an appointment in the nearby town that is always chokka, and has delusions of grandeur so charges a fortune for parking.
The plan is to get a couple of jobs done here first, DH has been given a shopping list ( not sure why I bother as he has more questions than there are things in the list) as we have a big lunch here on Sunday for his family, get back from town as soon as possible, then try to run the vacuum cleaner round. It’s a plan.
First stop - clear the ironing pile which should be do-able.
Have a lovely day all x

    Hi all

Nasty weather here too, thunderstorm early this morning woke me, I managed to go back off for a while but I’m still tired. Am showered, dressed and breakfasted. A load of smalls in the WM, they can go on the airer if the weather doesn’t improve.

Full day of paid stuff and some errands to run, not sure how much time will be left for flying again but will do my best. Meal out booked for tomorrow evening and a day out on Sunday (weather dependent). We are then away for a long weekend next week so I really need to make sure I am organised! May have to do a list that covers the next 5 days so I can ensure everything gets done!

Right, cuppa finished, off to work I go!

Have a good day all x

Still raining here. I've baked a big cherry cake and lots of chocolate muffins so there's been lots of washing up to do too. Today's washing is on the airer.

    Some dailies done.

Back from tour of local towns just as the rain started.
    I have ticked off:
Wm x 1, on the line indoors
    Ironing pile
Errands and appointments in 2 towns
New watch strap - on the list for ages
    2 birthday cards
Small food shop as we were passing through.

Still to go - bathrooms etc. Am procrastinating....

More shopping (spending) with DH. It's cheaper being at work.

  • Dammit. As I suspected, the motherboard's gone. I am computerless for the foreseeable future. At least that means we'll be able to recover my CV, payslips and p45, though, by converting the hard drive into an external. And the photos I'd literally just transfered onto it and deleted from my phone.

Did very little today because I was waiting for my next humira delivery. But I offloaded the old methotrexate and cytotoxic sharps bins to the delivery guy, which frees up a whole shelf in the shower room and vacuumed upstairs.

    Dammit.

    Dammit. Dammit. Dammit.

    Morning all.

I did not want to be up this early but DH is still waking up at normal work time even though he's off, and this morning he was noisy.

No dogs this weekend, will probably potter and maybe go somewhere tomorrow.

Right now, I'm going back to bed.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning all,

Didn’t manage to post again yesterday, bit busy!!

Only dailies done plus errands and paid stuff yesterday. Have made my list for the weekend and next week, done a shopping list and a menu plan. All quite simple as we are away from Thursday next week.

    So today’s plan is to...

Try not to get blown away!
    Haircut this morning
    Food shop
Card to buy (missed one earlier in the week!)
    Washing
    Ironing for DH to do
Gardening.... looks unlikely but will put on the list just in case!
    Change bedding
    Vac and dust all through
    Bathrooms to clean

That should be enough to keep me going today although DH will do a fair chunk of it while I go out. We are then off for a meal tonight, looking forward to that...

Have a fab day all, back later for progress report x
