I suggest you also complain to the DVLA that the scammers/scamlicitors have sent you someone else's personal data, especially if it includes names and VRNs.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0

I suggest you also complain to the DVLA that the scammers/scamlicitors have sent you someone else's personal data, especially if it includes names and VRNs.
If you've got the time, and personal names and addresses are included on the 9 other NtKs you've received, why not write a circular letter to each of them, explaining what has happened, and invite each one to issue MCOL proceedings against VCS for a serious breach of the DPA and GDPR, as well as each complaining to the ICO and the DVLA.
This isn't the first time VCS have done this (a recent thread covers it), and 9 claims against them for upwards of £250 a pop will give them some financial discomfort, not to mention the ICO and DVLA sniffing around. This could be serious stuff.

Just a thought:-
As a general point, if only the VRM is on the docs, is it possible to apply manually to the DVLA for registered keeper details quoting "breach of GDPR by private parking company" as the reason?0 -
Probably not as a consumer is not in an ATA.
As we know, parking firms have a special status they do not deserve and should be taken away from them all. The sooner, the better!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes i have names, addresses, VRN's, time, date and location of all the supposed PCN's they have dished out to the fellow 9 people all relating to the same day and date!!
I dont have alot of time on my hands but when it comes to being scammed and people being scammed i can sure as hell do my best to time for it!
Im not the brightest mind when it comes to legal stuff but thanks to the help of those here i am more than happy to help pay it forward as best i can!0 -
P.S - I will also add to my email to the DPO regdrding the data breach that i will be contacting every person they have breached against to inform them!
I know it states that upon notification of a breach they must contact all relevant parties but i think it best i also do this to inform them that -
1. If they did pay the charge they can sue against data breach and get monies back and,
2. They can complain to the relevant departments / bodies to help thwart this injustice!0 -
Send a letter to all the people BEFORE you complain to the ICO, not like this:I will also add to my email to the DPO regarding the data breach that i will be contacting every person they have breached against to inform them!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Given light of the new evidence about 'Abuse of Process' in regards to CEC16's recent court hearing would it be good practice to send a pre-court date letter to the courts requesting claims to be struck out adding the relevent documents as evidence?
If so would a copy need to be sent to the claimant also or just the court?0 -
Have a look at this thread where VCS sent the OP someone else's data as well. Read posts 25 where it is first mentioned, and 43 where I suggest complaining to the DVLA.
Note my comments about this being a completely different issue to notifying the courts and the ICO.
One is about a data breach and the other (to the DVLA) is a KADOE breach.
I see no conflict in telling the DVLA what has happened.

Ok so i am going to attempt to add an Imgur link to the WS of the Claimant for this case (its quite funny so far) but if someone could help me with getting the link working that would be much appreciated!
I am currently writing up my WS for posting in 9 days time so will add this as and when i can.
Many thanks in advance!0
