i understand where you're coming from and i have no intention of sending in my WS or evidence but things get a lot busier for me in the summer so i'd rather get most of it organised now as the majority of it is not going to change. if something more useful does turn up then i can always amend before i send it...0

OK good, well the ParkingEye v Beavis sign comes up when you search Google images.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Indeed, give the court a call
You need ot know this date, so you can get it done without any worries.0 -
i called the court on two separate days and i was 21st and 28th in the queue....i will call again on monday. what's going on in the other post?0

hi everyone,
i hope you're all keeping sane and well in the madness we've been expriencing.
the time is almost upon me so i am back to ask for your experienced advice.
i think i might be a bit confused... i thought i was to show the adjudicator the parking eye v beavis sign as it looks pretty clear, compared to the one i was expected to read but after reading the case, am i correct in thinking that it's about the extortionate charges?
i am 7th in the court phone queue line as i type, down from 32 so i've been waiting a while. i will update once i have spoken to them...0 -
There is no 'adjudicator'.
This isn't an appeal, it is a defence to a court claim. You will have your hearing with a Judge.
Your WS will be based on the story of what happened and will attach evidence like the examples in the NEWBIES thread. That includes stuff about signs and about the abuse of process and anything else significant to your case. Winning in court is not about ONE point of defence, it's about evidencing all of them.
Why are you ringing the court? Which court are you ringing? The CCBC are not involved any more and your local court will be short staffed and can't give you legal advice on what to put in as evidence.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

so sorry! as you can tell, i am a proper novice.
just been reading the newbies and saw that it is indeed the sign i need to produce.
the court said that the evidence needs to be in 14 days before and the case is on the 17th july. the lady said to call one week before to find out whether it will be face to face or virtual...
i am going to get the evidence together in the next few days and i would like to post an outline of it for you to have a look at if that's okay?
thank you

Yes, but importantly you need your WITNESS STATEMENT *and* your COSTS ASSESSMENT compiling.
That will within it adduce the evidence, in the form "INITIALS/001 - a photo of...."
Remind us - have they added unrecoverable amounts such as £60 / £70 to any PCNs? Not talking about court fees here, nor interest, but amounts for "damages" above the £100 (at a guess) PCN.2
