    thanks for that...i haven't done the directions questionaire so i guess i am waiting for that. i am sure i read that i can go somewhere online to do that so i will have a look in the newbies thread again and brush up a lot :)

    The defence is in a prevoius post and i had already sent it before another forum user pointed out that it was incorrect...can i send a new one?

    You read it in item 8 in the list in post #8 above in your thread.

    Probably not worth doing. A substantial fee will be required.

    Am I being docile today? I downloaded the DQ but I cannot see where it says what to do with it in the newbies thread???

    Bargepole's 'what happens when' post linked from post #2 of the NEWBIES thread explains exactly how to answer every question in the form.

    Hint: it might be neater to fill in the form online before printing it.

    Once complete, it should be returned to the CCBC in the same manner and to the same email address that you sent your Defence.

    Remember to send a copy to the Claimant - address on your Claim Form.

    Unless the OP qualifies for free court fees, based on income grounds (it's a higher ceiling than some might think, and not just for people on benefits). I'd qualify myself, based on my income I think, as I am semi retired!

    i do qualify :) shall i send another defence? also was i supposed to send my defence to the claimant?

    No. The CCBC forwarded it to them.
    Didn't the CCBC write to you and tell you that they had passed your Defence to the Claimant?

    i have not received a thing since i sent the defence... drat! would it be an official looking letter? i have a habit of throwing anything in a white envelope with no sender details into the bin. i must stop doing that :naughty:

    i have found the info i need in the newbies post thank you. i have an operation date due any day, i just had the pre-op but no date for the op yet. feeling apprehensive about sending it as i don't want them to clash.....

    No, the CCBC does that for you WHEN you send it through to the CCBC

    You cant jsut "send another defence"
    You have to file an application to ASK ifyou can file an amended defence.

    It is not an automatic right.
