pegged out three washloads
Fielded visit from anxious Mum re route over the High Peak to the wedding in Cheshire tomorrow; normally we would be driving through Whaley Bridge so need to re-route.
Went to hairdresser.
Picked up more ABs for Benny Bunny
Cleaned out Benny's hutch...and have cobbled together temporary accomodation for rabbit found on road (doe - Benny is enchanted as is DD). Have advertised said found bunny (Flopsy) on FB and contacted RSPCA and local vets. If she is not claimed, though she will stay here and there will be an operation for one or t'other of them... Temporary accomodation is Benny's run (he has free rein in the whole garden when I'm around so isn't using the run) and the 'day box' has been turned over -so that it's lifted off the patio and will be a little warmer) and a corrugated plastic cover attached. Rain is forecast so she needs to be able to keep dry.
Benny has an appointment at the vets Tuesday so I will take 'Flopsy' to be scanned in case she is chipped and the chip is registered. She has one ear she doesn't hold up too well - and they are big ears.
Given, however, that she has been listed on local facebook groups (lost and found pets) and no-one has been in touch yet I don't hold out much hope of finding her owner. Shame, she's a sweet little thing and clearly used to being handled.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

All of my list has been completed apart from post office. I am really pleased with myself, I even went on the sunbed for 6 minutes too (really helpful for my eczema in small doses).
Have lovely evenings all xx0 -
'Beauty' appointment done.
Attempted to spend money, but no suitable footwear, clothes or socks appeared (although it could be that I just wasn't in the mood).
Gave up and settled for the requested 'snacky things', plus a half leg of lamb to chuck in the slow cooker with some rosemary and juniper tomorrow morning. It's about time we had something other than chicken.
Will resume Internet shopping shortly. After a well earned tea.
I'm really tired. Could be a side effect of the humira, I suppose.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
So glad your cat's back at home, Bad Cat where it can have all the TLC it needs.
Welcome back Ionafan! I assumed you were on holibobs. Glad you're a bit caught up.
Round, I've got a proper computer in my office with Windows 7 on it, and I won't upgrade it because I don't like the Windows 10 version of Mahjohg! I'm considering de-internetting the whole computer just to keep it, too. (I can't print from it any more anyway, and the laptop does all the stuff I need to do online.)
Congratulations, if that's in order, on the bunny find, Valli. Our little stray cat that caused me such stress is still in rescue, and is now deemed to be friendly. If we hadn't already had the kittens we've have kept it but it kept attacking them so we couldnt't. It's how we came by Devil Cat and OH absolutely adored him.
All five wash loads have finished line drying, been folded and put away, just in time to avoid a light shower which wasn't enough to water the pots. Everything's wilting, but my tomatoes are now producing daily. I bought three plants from the animal rescue centre when I dropped the stray off, and they've already paid for themselves in tomatoes picked. It's the first time I've ever managed that. I have cleaned the outside of my car, potted up some strawberry runners and relaxed in the garden. I'm also pleased with what I've achieved today.
10k tomorrow, dyeing DDs hair and guests for tea so not a lot of flying will be done.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
(Knocks quietly on door and pokes head round)
Not sure how long it is since I was here, but I did have to reset my password
Had a look at the house and decided I really need to get back into a routine, although this may not be the best time as I am having some work done so might need to juggle the room order. Still anything would be better than starting to do a blitz and ending up with half the house cleaned and the other half abandoned again.0 -
Evening all,
We are home (well, two thirds of us are)
Plastering is finished...
shower still broken and affecting hot water throughout the house.
Can't deal with anything along those lines.
Tonight I really need to:
Empty the car
Send a message to a group of people coming round tomorrow
Sort the cool box out.
Hang up the last of the wet washing (did really well, only two loads of washing to do when I got home earlier - both done, one already on the line, hoping it will be dry before bed time.
Look in the freezer and meal plan, write a shopping list (hopefully to shop on Monday)
Sort through the post.

Little found rabbit reunited with owners who, it transpires, were oblivious, for quite a long time, that their rabbits had escaped. We were in the act of trying to catch the second, which we spotted about 11 pm when the owners saw us. A neighbour had told us two were out so we had been keeping an eye out for the second.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson
