Yeah i went for the more concise and to the point option.Funnily, i've been pondering a small Caddy sized van to facilitate a side project i'm going to work on. I havent seen much movement yet, but in theory markets like pickups and vans are likely to be hit by the upcoming downturn.Would be interesting to hear if anyone has direct experience? Why? So you can argue with them?0

That's right, mock me and have fun with your fanboys here about an Alfa:
Explain this in as few words as humanly possible....
Yes, RE: your second paragraph i have to say thats where we are currently with cars. Depreciation on a new A45 is close to heart stopping. We enjoyed it, but i think we'll draw a line on heavily depreciating cars from here on in.!
People we are on a roll with this charlatan.....Funnily, i've been pondering a small Caddy sized van to facilitate a side project i'm going to work on. What business is it of yours and why do you get so excited about what someone may or may not lose on a car?
I couldn't give a monkey's about the huge amounts you've flushed down the toilet over many years of buying many cars. That Merc AMG was a classic.....ouch! Plus the Mini Cooper residuals....double ouch!
Oh well as you say a fool and his money.
Because you come to these threads, usually with misinformation merely to brag about what you've allegedly bought and what a fantastic deal you apparently got for paying cash. Nothing you've posted so far on this thread has helped the O/P.
And thats the difference between your posts and everyone elses on this thread. We come on to these threads to help people based on our collective knowledge and to learn too, you come on here to brag.0 -
There's a lot more to come of stinking hypocrisy.....stay tuned folks.Funnily, i've been pondering a small Caddy sized van to facilitate a side project i'm going to work on. The OP asked about cash vs debt. You changed it.
I brag according to you and you only.
If I said I had a new Mercedes AMG, Mini Cooper S from new and a Porsche on the drive.....that's YOU!
Simple question. Is that a 'humblebrag'?
If not why not?Funnily, i've been pondering a small Caddy sized van to facilitate a side project i'm going to work on. No. The O/P actually asked "Can I use this to my advantage and buy with finance, then within a short time pay it off in full and avoid the finance charges?"
Perhaps if you'd spent more time reading the original post you wouldnt look so foolish now?0 -

Where have i mentioned an AMG or Cooper S on this thread?0 -
You have avoided the AMG Mercedes losses.
Please explain why.
No obfuscation, dancing around.
Did you have a 'painful' loss on the Merc? Just one of your poor choices....Funnily, i've been pondering a small Caddy sized van to facilitate a side project i'm going to work on. And whats the relevance?
Where did i say i hadnt lost money on cars??
You're merely distracting from admitting you hadnt bothered reading the original post fully - too busy typing up your bit of bragging were you? :rotfl:0 -

You've stalked me since day one. You think you're the kingpin here being the big I am.
Trouble is 'buddy' you've picked on the wrong person.
Answer my question about bragging?
I can list your car bragging, here's a few:
M140i, A45 AMG, MCS, Z4, Subaru WRX, Z4 Coupe, BMW 535D.
That's just the new ones!
There's more folks.......stay tuned.Funnily, i've been pondering a small Caddy sized van to facilitate a side project i'm going to work on.
