Ok guys I've just receive a LBC from Gladstones. So lets see what the next stage is and I believe its a SAR to HX.


I've noticed on the LBC there is no telephone number to speak to an agent of Gladsones but there is a number for payment. I'm taking it that number will not put me through to an agent.



Also and thanks to Blancswan above I have email the owner of the car park requesting the ticket is cancelled. However I will start the SAR activity.

Anyone know the email address of the Data Protection officer for HX please? I can't find it anywhere on there website.

No you ALSO send a response to Gladstones stating you are seeking debt advice and you are requiring them to put the charge on hold for a min of 30 days while the SAR is responded to.

Look like you have to write to the DPO as follows: -

Ok guys just an update.


I have received a reply from HX who inform me they will comply with my SAR by the 14th October 2019. I have replied back to them requesting the minimum criteria as suggested in the Newbies thread. I have informed Gladstones of the situation as well.


I have my defence drafted already thanks to the information on here. However, there are a couple of things I might add if I can:
1. I went through the appeal process. I did this before I found this site. Since being on this site I have found that IAS is owned by the owners of Gladstone. As I am now being taken to court by Gladstone I will add to my defence that I reckon Gladstone will use this IAS appeal against me. I will then inform that this shold be treaded as a Conflict of Interest and the argument be nullified.
2. I'm expected to receive a paste and copy of a defence from Gladstone of which about 90% will be irrevelant. I'm not too sure when I can do this next one but I want to highlight this either in my Defence or Witness Statement how much of their Defence is relevant. My intention here is to show how unprofessional they are.


I am being told if they do send someone ot court for such an minor then it will be off chance that their solicitor just happened to be in town and would be given about 1 hour to study the case. Hearing this happens alot.

It's not 'their defence'. You are the only person who will be submitting a defence.

Gladstones don't send someone on the 'off chance' in a handful of cases. They send a legal rep from a third party firm, Elms Legal, in most cases.

Hi Guys,


I've just received the SAR from HX.



As a reminder I paid for my time but only put in 2 digits of my VRN. I did not overstay my time.



On their PDT machine report which I requested they only sent me my record. I'm not sure if I read somewhere I should request all payments on that day. Can someone please clarify?
