Thank you it’s a telephone hearing so maybe a rep will be on the phone.
Is the hearing likely to last the full 3 hours (10am-1pm)? And further advice before the hearing Monday?

Read other recently completed court case threads where they had a telephone hearing , read their after action reports , prepare a crib sheet , add the word costs at the bottom to remind you to ask for them to be awarded
You won't get better advice than reading recent experiences
It lasts as long as it lasts !! Prepare for it and assume it will3 -
Did Gladstones email the court and Claimant with the agreed single bundle, if the Directions required them to be in charge of that?
Did you copy in the court so at least you know that they have your WS and evidence even if Gs haven't bothered?
Have you given the court your phone number by email if this is a telephone hearing?
If you've done all you were expected to do, then search the forum for hearing tips and ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST to read about hearings and how they went and what to expect!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just reading some reports now and making notes- any particular report in relation to UKCPM/Gladstone’s?0 -
Just reading some reports now and making notes- any particular report in relation to UKCPM/Gladstone’s?There will be dozens. That combo have been the country's most litigious duo for the past two years. Either use the MSE search engine on keywords 'UKCPM Gladstones' or Google them with 'MoneySavingExpert' added.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

All Done. Case Dismissed and thrown out!!
Huge thank you to every member to advised, commented and provided other threads for guidance on how to write up WS and provide evidence.
The Judge barely booked at my WS just noted Atlip road appears to be a through road which is a public road and UKCPMs site map doesn’t specifically mention this road belongs to them. He grilled the committee member for around 20 mins to which she had no response, and dismissed the case.
Schedule of costs he awarded to be was £95 for missing work- nothing unfortunately for the 19 hours I tried to claim for researching the law and the claimants unreasonable behaviour. In his eyes it was maybe unethical/aggressive but not unreasonable. Committee member asked to appeal but hopefully all dusted and settled!
Thanks again everyone have a great Monday!4 -
Well done !!
Another one bites the dust !!
Ukcpm and Gladstone's lose yet again2 -
I mean how can "we didnt have authority to so operate, so our entire claim has zero foundation from the get go" NOT count as unreasonable? Bloody hell judges!3

Coupon-mad said:No, that's normal - read any other Gs threads! You should have been expecting that. ]
They might send a rep, just not the Claimant. Please now make a real difference - A TASK FOR SEPTEMBER.
The Government is (this month only) consulting about a new statutory code of practice (CoP) and framework to rein in the rogue parking firms. Read and comment on the draft CoP proposal and the enforcement framework consultation, and get everyone you know to do the same.
You will need to register to comment on the CoP and enter an occupation even if you are retired or a homemaker, but otherwise it is easy to navigate, and comment upon each section/subsection individually. You can save comments to edit later and or submit comments once you are happy with them.
https://standardsdevelopment.bsigroup.com/projects/2020-00193#/section
You do not need to register to comment on the enforcement framework which can be found here. It has a link on page 5 to make comments.

At the very least, we say the parking charge level should be £50/£25 or higher level £70/£35, as per Council PCNs in E&W.
And we say the added fake 'debt recovery' costs are just double counting the cost of letters, and MUST GO because that is unfair and illegal.
Please be heard. You can bet the hundreds of PPCs will be commenting. No apologies for repeating this vital 'call for action' to consumers, on every thread this month!
Don't forget to please do the above this month...this is the way to change things.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
