Do the edits in the above draft defence, so it is honed as replies come in

Seems reasonable to me, so look for any other errors etc

    Many thanks all done.
  • Thank you everyone for your assistance I have emailed off the defence. Now I wait.

I also received an email from UKCPM 2/3days ago in response to my data access request-
They are requesting proof of ID- utility bills and passport/driving licence?

Is it worth filling any of this in and replying as I’ve already sent my defence off?

Send them a copy of your County Court Claim Form as proof.
Do not send any photo id.

You still want to see the response to the SAR as it might well be useful at Witness Statement writing time.
  • Just an update...court file has been referred to a District Judge for directions....waiting game now I suppose.

Have you now had a response to your Subject Access Request?
  • No nothing as of yet.

Then you need to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

They are allowed one calendar month to respond to a SAR. When did you send your proof of id?
  • Apologies this was my fault oversight I misplaced the email. I pre filled in the form they sent via email and sent copy of claims court (instead of id) on 05/11/2019

So they asked for proof of id in August and you sent it in November.

Please don't make any more 'oversights' as you head towards the business end of this process.

And no, it is not just a waiting game now.

Have you given any thought yet to gathering evidence and writing a Witness Statement?

    Don't forget your Costs Schedule.

All this is explained in post #2 of the NEWBIES thread.
  • Thank you for all the info KeithP

For evidence I was planning to take pictures of the small/poor signage in dark where vehicle was parked, and also a copy of the disability certificate in the windscreen which was displayed at the time of the incident.

Still yet to work on WS, will make a start shortly, - when can I expect a approximate date for hearing?
