    Morning all

I missed posting again yesterday, paid stuff very busy and tiring. It was also still very sticky here.
Changed today though, much cooler and raining, it’s quite a relief!

We have visitors tomorrow so today the house needs a general spruce up and tidy, washing to be done, first load just in and need to do some food shopping.

Tea first and then I shall make a proper start on it.

Have a good day all x

    Morning :hello:

For some reason I was hotter yesterday than I'd been the day before :( so I sat and decluttered sweat whilst watching TdF.

The only flying I managed was to update my 'favourites' on my basic, old, pay as you go, mobile (which is the only mobile that I have :D). I'm quite :j about that though as it's :money: and that 'job' has been sat on my Toots List for [STRIKE]a while[/STRIKE] years :o My 'favourites' are now the five people that I most frequently contact - half price texts and calls :money:

I predict that the heatwave will be over and the next Ice Age will begin from today! Sod's Law. I've ordered two fans that are being delivered today :D

Good Deed of the Day yesterday - I mentioned to Dad that Mum used to have a fan as she couldn't stand the heat. He'd forgotten about it. Said fan was immediately found, plugged in and a collective 'ahh that's better' wafted round the room :D. I then came home and ordered fans for chez Roundtuit :)

Oh, one other thing I did yesterday - I phoned and arranged a telephone 'assessment for counselling' on Monday - a free service offered through my employer.

    So, not entirely unproductive then.

This morning it is dull, has rained in the night, clouds are scudding across from the north - but it's still hot in here - or maybe it's me :o

    Have a good weekend.

Just got up again, so having breakfast.

I may put down new flooring in toilet, need to pop to baker, and still have council work to do. Maybe do something in the greenhouse too as it's cooler.

I've been to the baker to buy rolls for planned bbq tomorrow!

Still raining hard so council work will have to wait probably till early next week as I need to do three site visits and take photos.

So just having another cuppa and will probably then alternate knitting with doing something useful.

Just did knitting for three hours. My finishing leaves a bit to be desired. Will finish sewing it up another time.

Not quite sure what I want to do next.

Another one here who didn't sleep too well. I was "keen" to do a ParkRun this morning as I've tried to do one each month since April, but woke to torrential rain so wimped out rather relieved.
Went to see MILs new room again this morning to get a better idea of which of her pictures, ornaments etc would fit and suit. Saw a different member of staff this time, very nice and interested in MIL. Then went round to her flat and did a bit more sorting, took down the pictures we plan to get to the care home before she does.
Lunch at garden centre on the way home and bought some half price seeds.

Did some weeding and bed preparation between showers ready to sow some late snap peas and French beans.

Made an admin to-do list and am working my way down it.
