You must have been so happy to see each other - I saw my parents for the first time since Christmas at the weekend and it was a tad emotional.  I don't think we would have got through lock down if we didn't have a garden so I'm cherishing it as much as I can.  My MIL lives in a flat usually and this whole thing has pushed her and her partner to buy a static caravan so they have somewhere to go to which has outdoor space so I don't think you're alone in wanting to at least look.  Even if you can't afford it now, at least you'll know what you need to do to get there.

Congrats. That is a wonderful accomplishment in paying off so much in 4 years. I do the same thing. I love to calculate how much I've paid and I love to see what payment I should be on according to the schedule and what payment I'm actually on to see how far ahead I am. Keeps me motivated.
A bungalow with a garden sounds so nice. Hopefully, you can find one that's affordable for you. The garden has definitely been a life-saver during lockdown. I'm working in it, which de-stresses me, and it keeps me away from the TV and computer for a nice long time. Plus just seeing the beauty that comes when my flowers and plants are happy brings me joy considering I didn't know how to plant anything before I started.

Wow, thank you so much for dropping in, that comment means a lot to me. The diaries on here have been a massive source of encouragement for me and I’m so pleased I can pay it forward for others!
Well done to you on shielding also - the hardest thing I’ve ever done!
