Wow! Time flies and the last couple of months have definitely been a blur!
First things first hope you’re all keeping safe and well!
After what felt like a lifetime the mortgage offer finally arrived on Friday! My advisor has been great and wisely advised me to instruct the solicitors to commence legal work without the mortgage offer (at my own risk obviously!) so as far as I know I’m only waiting for the last few searches to come back!
If all goes to plan could be in a new home in time to say good riddance to this awful year.
Staring down the barrel of £127,999 debt; whilst it is not the largest on here by any stretch it is daunting for me- ah well, I cleared £25k in 4 years before I can do it again!

Goal 1: Mortgage under £80k by the end of 5 year fixed rate!

Cleared 25k from mortgage in 4 years - now I need to do it again!

    Dec 2020 Balance: £127,000
    Dec 2021: Balance £121,500

Particularly when working remotely on the day!!
Hope you’re all keeping well I  will be here a lot more frequently from now on!

    Thank you all so much!
I’m so pleased with the house, it’s in a lovely quiet street, round the corner from my parents and drumroll....FREEHOLD!

Need to update my signature- made £6k from the sale which I will keep as my EF (6 months expenses). First priority is some access adjustments- a workmen’s coming tomorrow to have a look, anticipating this will be £2k but we will see!
After that hoping to OP £300 pcm !
40 is not really achievable for MF now, OP calculations says 48, so the goal is 45!
