Where to live in Bradford?

Options
Hello! I’m moving for work from Bristol to Bradford. On the one hand it will be really good for house prices but on the other, I really like Bristol and will be sad to leave. Where’s the best place to buy in Bradford for safety and things to do etc? Budget around 220k.

I wouldn't move there, especially not from Bristol!

Have you actually been there? Whats the cause of the move?

Not a lot more helpful than the above post, but my general rule of thumb for cities is look for where the golf courses are!

New job. Training contract. I went there for the interview. Is it at all like Sheffield? I like Sheffield.

I know a lot of people who relocated from Bristol to the Bradford area for work within HBOS/Lloyds as there are large offices in both areas and most have settled around Pudsey.

I'll agree with comms that its not easily comparable if you like the vibes in Bristol but a lot will depend on where you are working and how far you wish to commute

West Yorkshire is the most dangerous place to live in all of England. That doesn't mean there aren't nice areas, of course there are - Bradford is not one of them.

If you are happy to commute you'll be fine.
