Jojo.. great news re the new job.. something positive to look forward to.. Sorry for the local young people who will miss out on your care! xx
We went out just OH and I for food last night.. pulled into the car park.. pop went the tyre so fortunately we had gone to the place he works so there were people there to help him change it.. though I did have to ask if he really should be heaving the spanner quite so much and make hi hand over such duties to someone more able.. honestly.. he tells me off for this exact thing then does it himself!!
Washing swishing away.. last 2 loads.. though I do have 2 lots to hang out which I am doing after my cuppa.. I WILL get some washing folded today too if it kills me (which it might, there is a lot!) .. I need staff!!! I really need to see some stuff leaving the house too so I might get on that.. I need to pay the ebeast bill before I can list more and I don't have the money to pay that (regardless of how much it is!) so I cannot list more to make more back.. this is most frustrating!
Cheque through from solar panels so I have to get that in bank asap... ooh I just remembered there is an option to put cheques in online now.. I will do that in a second.. ! .. done.. what a faff that was.. still... beats walking to the bank at the end of the street! lazy mare that I am! I am paying the whole lot off a credit card and keeping the credit card for emergency use when we are on holiday.. I do have some saved for that, I've been putting away £10 a week since it was booked last August.
List of stuff needed for school/college in September.

ugh what a day.
DD asked me to pick her up from home in Leicester and take her to Nottingham to pick up her new car.
So I hit the M1 at J29. Just past Tibshelf services we slowed down...approaching J28 and we were at a standstill. Phoned DD on handsfree and she found out there were two accidents so I left the motorway (eventually) at J28 and headed to Derby through roadworks (down to 1 lane) on the A38 and eventually rejoined motoway at J25.
Anyway we managed to get to the dealership before they closed.

Back from our weekend away, very enjoyable but tiring too!
I completed everything that I wanted to on Friday and even managed an online shopping order which was delivered just after we got home this evening, perfect timing and saves one of us having to trek to the supermarket tomorrow!
Since we got in I have, unpacked bags, everything put away including the bag itself. Washing loaded in to machine ready to go in the morning. A quick pasta supper prepared, eaten and clearing up done, DH made his pack-ups for tomorrow, Opened all the windows for a while to air the house out, a quick walk around the block to stretch our legs after several hours in the car and then watched a bit of TV.
Just off to bed shortly, hope you all had a good weekend. See you on the new thread tomorrow xx0 -
I promise to do the whole week's lists for you, I'm really not sure what happened when I did the last lot of lists. I think I must have had a total brain fart and thought I had done the lists when in actual fact I had only done a couple of days.
And thank you Round for PM'ing me, so sorry I didn't get back to you it wasn't intentional.
