Morning
Another one here who's away for the weekend so quick rush around this morning
Bed was remade last night, so this morning I need to finish packing (throw clothes that are on the bed into a bag). Find bedding to take with us. Load my car, did OHs last night but mine just needs bedding and clothes so easy. Shower and eat something. DW done.0 -
Morning all,
Had a lie in until 6.15, crazy! House all done, ready for work, kiddies sorted etc. I really want some new to me workwear so will pop to the charity shop later on for a browse.
WM done and hanging out, DW unloaded, toilets bleached.
Easy dinner of goujons, wedges and beans tonight. Have lovely days all xx0 -
Yesterday, in addition to the dailies, I managed one little job off my own list. I did a big 'Mother Hubbard' food shop on the way home from Tots, during which it started raining - so bang went any chance of washing windows or mowing the lawn. The garden looks much happier this morning following the downpour. For tea last night we ate our own homegrown broad beans, sugar snaps and kale
I did brush Rosie for a quarter of an hour and stripped her of a huge amount of loose undercoat using the proper wire brush, which she has never before allowed me to use for more than 2 minutesShe thanked me by waking me up at 6.30 this morning - probably because DH had already gone downstairs (very unusual for him) and hadn't let her out.
We are planning on going out somewhere nice for lunch today. The sun is shining, the sky is bright blue, and everything is sparkly clean. We might even drive out to the hills on the Welsh border... After all, I can't mow the lawn here until it dries out again!
(((Hugs))) to all in need xx0 -
Morning all
Off to take DD town appointment soon so any spare finger crossing welcome. I got an immediate appointment with the dr yesterday (our surgery is fab) and now am on antibiotics. Feeling generally knackered and sleeping at the drop of the hat. It has better buck up as I’m off to Mademoiselle land at the weekend.
Very little flying done. Nobody seems to have noticed the ironing strike that I’m in but the pile is beginning to annoy me!
Must dash - DD is ready and I’m not!
Hugs to all and missing all absentee flyladies too x0 -
Brief update from me to keep me motivated.
Bed stripped, washed and out on line.
Did 2 hours of paid stuff
Cats to cattery, they are not happy!
2nd wash load in
Got fuel
Had car washed and cleaned
Shopped for wine and chocs for our hosts this weekend
Back to paid stuff again now! When I stop for ‘lunch’ I will do a couple of house jobs off the list!0 -
OH hung out washing .. apparently my 'missing' bank card is now nice and clean.. oops!
I need to get on top of the dirty pots today.. I ran the DW 4 times last night and there are still things dirty, including all the pots from dinner last night and breakfast.. it is absolutely never ending!
Looking at a lot of surgery for family members this year.. so not looking like my tummy tuck is happening just yet.. I really wanted it this year.. I was looking at October.. but, never mind, the families health comes over my vanity (and mental health!) I guess!
Off to buy a music book for Squeak and going for lunch with OH as it is his birthday today and he is working this evening.. I told the girls it is his birthday tomorrow when he is off so they aren't disappointed.
Best shift my derriere!
Love and hugs to all.. esp.. LW, Narco, Round and everyone else having a difficult time or missed xxLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Sorry I've been MIA, the literary festival has been taking up as much of my energy as I could spare, and the tooth episodes knocked me a bit sideways. Will be back next week.Better is good enough.0
