    Morning all

Super early start for me today. I have an early work telephone meeting. Have just had a cup of tea, shower next, shall then put dishes away and put a wash load on before the call. An early start should in theory mean an early finish so I will fly around later on.

We are going away for the weekend so I need to do a few extras so that everything is clean and tidy to come back to. A couple of errands to run before we go as well so I think I should make a list...

Hugs and GWS vibes to those in need. Have a good day all. Back later for progress report!

Fayolle Hope you are ok, if you cannot get an appointment, do you have a walkin centre near you?

I am home alone for the next 4 days, except for the cat who is fast to sleep near me.

    I've made a shopping list
I want to sort out my photos on my lappy, as grandkids are growing up so fast, I want to get them into some sort of date order, rather than just a name on each jpeg.
WM is on, but it is drizzling outside just has to be, as it is Grand Prix weekend

I hope all the missing flyladies are ok, please pop in just to say hi and you are ok, I worry when I don't see posts from the regulars.

    Morning all

Yesterday was a bit of a dot to dot day. Banking and admin done, WM went on and various bits were tidied both in the living room and in out bedroom but no obvious progress to be seen yet. BUT the kitchen is still beautifully tidy, I have been very good about putting it to bed in the evening and putting DW on even if not quite full which means OH empties it in the morning and there is somewhere to put dirty dishes all day.

Today am going out for lunch with friends, we are going to be the batty foreign ladies who lunch. So looking forward to that, I am up, showered, dressed and just having a quick bowl of cereal. WM is on with our sheets. Will tidy round living area this morning and then might paint my nails seeing as I've put a pretty summer dress on ready for lunch.

Kettle back on and off into the living room with a bin bag!

Yesterday I spent a lot of the day asleep, warding off a threatening migraine, but it had subsided sufficiently by the evening for me to finish off the translation :D
I also remembered to pick the last of the gooseberries (I have just one bush in a pot), topped and tailed them and also the blackcurrants (again from just one bush) that I had picked while DH was in hospital, so they're now all safely in the freezer, ready to make Stachelbeerentorte and Johannisbeerkuchen.

Toddler Group will take up most of my time today.

I have a number of "silly" jobs to do - for example, check that I have put all the phone numbers off a list of people/homes that I visit regularly into my mobile contacts. I'll try to deal with some of those today, as well as doing the dailies.

Also, I noticed yesterday how dirty the kitchen and DR windows are on the inside, so I will clean them this afternoon when the sun has gone off them (far too hot at present!).

    And the grass needs cutting.

Promises, promises... Will update later. Hope everyone has a good day. I too am missing the absent flyladies.

    Hi again

Have done 3 hours of paid stuff including my meeting.
WM x1 done and on line, just put another load out and the basket is empty!
DH did ironing last night so all up to date there for the moment.
Short tea break now then back to paid stuff.

    Bye again
  • I am packing for going away

    My clothes
    My shoes
    Pickles clothes
    Pickles shoes
    Washbags & towels
    Swimming bag
    Wooden trains
    Books.

    Really don't have the motivation.
Plasterer here - hopefully the last day today.
All quiet on the work front (although that in itself is making me nervous)

Going to have a lie down now. I've got to sleep sometime right?

    Big waves at you all.

    Wish.

  • Hi ladies,

Full day of paid stuff done. I need to pop into the front garden shortly to water the plants; I've already done the pots at the back. Will put a wash on tonight ready to hang out in the morning before work.

Kids will have eaten dinner at after school club, I'll have easy pasta.

Going to do a quick HHC now if anyone fancies it xx

Supper eaten, DH working late so will have his later,
Just going to clear up and reset kitchen then have a sit and rest for a bit. I wanted to hoover etc but it’s so sticky not sure I can manage it. May do a bit if it cools down later on.

    Have a lovely evening.
