Will keep an eye out for further update on Q2uantum's case, thanks. Have been trying to collate papers and photos etc for timeline of threatening letters received etc and have been reading through newbies thread to get ideas for drafting up WS and/or skeleton argument - thanks for tip about costs - printing etc .
Good luck Q2uantum0 -
Search the forum for Umkomaas is psychic to see that 'offer' before, where a discontinuance was predicted, and then duly happened!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Fingers crossed coupon mad, you never know. Will be mindful to keep on with WS etc - interestingly the allocation to small claims track states in bold that VCS have to submit court fee and properly completed application 4 WEEKS prior to the Court date ( unlike the Newbies thread 'usually is 14 days')otherwise claim will be struck out but of course 'we' the defendant also have to submit papers by same date.0

Court fee due before WS are due is normal. They want paying first!0

Hello,
Just to let you know that VCS also sent me that offer letter a few days ago - exactly the same wording, exactly the same offer. Maybe they've realised they're not making any money out of cases related to this car park any more.....
I'm also hoping for a discontinuation. I'll let you know if that happens.0 -
Hi - any further update keep calm for discontinuation?? I'm really struggling with WS - I keep reading Newbie thread but still drawing up short unfortunately
.Also without wishing to sound a bit dense - assuming at this point we have to identify who was actually driving as having read lots of threads on here, if the question is asked in Court, the culprit cannot deny it!

Are you expecting keep_calm_and_carry_on to be following your thread?
You are more likely to get a response from him on his own thread.
Have you seen the updates on his thread?
You will see there that Gumgirl won her case recently.
There is probably a useful Witness Statement on her thread - I've not checked.
Look at other VCS threads for inspiration.0 -
Hi Keith, it was more a hopeful question tbh - I've completed lost the thread (no pun intended!!) and struggling where to start.... I had read up on others previously but seeming to get more muddled. Will take a look thanks at Gumgirl and see if it prompts me.
I was living in hope that discontinuation might have been the order of the day0 -
There are thirty-four threads with VCS in the title started in the last three months alone.
Surely some of those will have a useful Witness Statement in them?0 -
You only have to search 'ANOTHER VCS ONE BITES THE DUST' to find a number of recent VCS cases won here, all of which show their WS... and VCS' own one as well, which you need to read.
VCS use a template and their WS will be almost exactly the same for your case and TBH it has been demolished so any times in the last year or two that it is easy to copy and do what everyone else has done...if you simply search the forum.PRIVATE 'PCN'?
