Hi CM -thanks for your assistance - I have just indeed spent the last couple of hours trawling through the forum reading up and trying to make notes as I go along. May I ask - would you advise against admitting who was actually driving?- in the defence we have not made any reference to who it was - anxious that it may be asked at the Court.0

In view of all this about the lack of a contract and only a sign that said 'no parking at any time', you need to be the admitted driver in your WS, and speak about everything you know and have found out about this area:upstanding wrote: »the signs that were there then have been removed
Actually managed to speak to a person 'patrolling' who said the area I indicated to was
"as far as he was aware not a restricted area and he could see no reason why anybody could have ever thought it might be".
Onsite businesses and employees also used to park their vehicles along there, again I have photographic evidence of same and had been informed by one of them that it was entirely appropriate to park along there.
In fact they they had been parking there a year before my "alleged misdemeanour" and were still parking there a year later and possibly up to two years later when double yellow lines were then put in place.
...states parked in restricted area of car park - but car was parked on road outside of car park along with several others, who parked there on daily basis as no parking restrictions in place...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

also having read through a lot of other posts - I noted somewhere it mentioned
"I had not had a copy of the DQ from VCS" on another posters thread - We never received a copy of DQ either despite us having submitted ours in time - this was just a couple of days before we had a very close family bereavement - hence I was oblivious to this fact and most of what I had previously gleamed from the forum has now gone foggy in my mind and am still struggling to retain what I'm reading - is this a significant factor that should be added to the WS?0 -

Just to clarify - actually spoke to the person a coupe of months ago when we went back to this carpark to get another overview - didn't speak to anyone patrolling on the day charge notice was stuck on car.0 -
I know. And this is all part of your WS and much better than hiding the driver!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Remember that these people on the ground are told to avoid confrontation. The guy who agreed with you was doing just that - avoiding confrontation.0

Yes, agreed, but all of this paints a picture that the witness Defendant needs to be able to tell, and come across as the only person who is the true witness for the incident, in the court room.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
