Budgeting loan delays.

My last one took about 7 weeks, so be prepared, and with backlogs and Xmas, your in for a wait I'm afraid.

We posted our acceptance form back on the 7th November and are still waiting, has anyone on here actually received theirs yet to give us an idea? Tried ringing to even just get an idea but as others say u can't get through on phone u just get automated message then hung up.:mad:

The 7th isn’t too long ago and remember they would of took several days to receive this. Therefore the first week of December leading into the second week is your 15 working days so there is no need to ring yet as there’s nothing they can do.

Factor in backlogs and Xmas too.

I had one this month. I had to wait 3 weeks before hearing back from them, which is standard.

They tell you to wait 20 days before phoning so that would take you to Wednesday. You'll probably hear from them by the end of the week. They send you a text message to let you know when they will put the money in your account.

DWP page has been updated as it’s now 21 and please everyone remember it’s WORKING days.

“You’ll then receive the money within 21 working days. It’ll be paid into your bank, building society or credit union account.“

So basically four weeks or so from the date of senidng back the acceptance letter. That seems to fall in line with the wait times in my area.

Just to update on mine.

Sent form back on Nov 2nd and it was in my bank account today.

Nope not heard a thing and still waiting for that text and we posted out letter back 7 days after u so hopefully next week
