I personally would look at the menu before you go, online? see whats a good choice, or see if you can incorporate syns in it, then cut down syns for the next few days :D

I'd agree. I'm at target too, having lost 3.5 stone. I can afford an off plan meal because I'm not going to put that all back on in one hit but you could undo all your good work for today.

If I were you I'd try to stick to plan as best you can until you've seen some good losses to motivate you.

Looking at Zizzi's menu, I'd suggest the salmon or chicken. Stay right away from pudding and if you want a drink have gin or vodka with diet mixers. This, followed up by some really low syn days should help. :)

LOL! I'm almost over it thanks, damn thing's been lingering for almost a fortnight :/

I'm out for dinner at Zizzi tomorrow with some friends - is it best to be a SW friendly as possible with what I eat, to forget it and have whatever I want, or somewhere in the middle?

I would try to stick to plan as much as you can.
eg I now drink raspberry gin instead of rose.
We wont mention the orange smarties :rotfl:

Morning all, hope you all had a good weekend and enjoyed some sunshine. Today is looking to be lovely as well. Hopefully will get out into the garden for a while later.

Ended up having a few Syns yesterday - a lolly (6); 2 burgers (1) so 7 in total but still an on plan day. Need to check how many syns I have left for this week so that I can work out what I can have today, tomorrow & Wednesday - want to save some for Wednesday as back at the hospital again. Am planning on taking HM scotch eggs & salad and probably a ham & tomato sandwich plus some fruit - just in case I'm there all day again!

    Today's plan:

B - scrambled eggs & spinach on toast - HEB
L - jacket potato, cottage cheese & salad
D - chilli (using the batch cooked base I made last week - just need to add chilli & kidney beans to it) with rice; cottage cheese (instead of sour cream - thanks Maman for the tip!; Syn Free pea guacamole (from Slimming Eats website) - this makes a good alternative but obviously isn't the real thing!

    HEA - milk
    HEA2 - a little parmesan (part HEA)
Syns - none planned but may have something this evening

  • Saw a friend on Saturday who was determined that I weigh myself on her new super duper scales, it gives everything. I wasn't having any of it as I am still conscious about my weight. However, she showed me her details (all comes up on an app) and I was shocked to discover that I am a stone lighter than her, so got on the scales. Not doing that again, it weighed me 3lb heavier than I was at WI  Told her this so boosted her morale by saying that means she is 3lb lighter than she thought, but just proves that scales are not consistent, there is no benefit to weighing more frequently than group and any variations just p you off!

Also went to see Lion King with her, computer animation is amazing!
A smile costs little but creates much :)
