I think burgers will probably be too dry. Wasn't that what Bubbs had the other day and said never again!
I'd go for the meatballs and cook them in a nice tomato sauce, with some mash & veg. A sauce will give a bit of flavour to the turkey mince.

That's what I was thinking Denise, while I fancy chips, there is something comforting about mash on a cold (ish) day.A smile costs little but creates much0 -
I've got bangers & mash tonight! Like you say comfort food for cooler days.

How annoying esmy.:( Hopefully if you keep plodding on (and don't eat the biscuits;)) then you'll see a good loss next week.:)I think burgers will probably be too dry. Wasn't that what Bubbs had the other day and said never again!

People often say turkey's too dry, you hear it a lot at Christmas, but I like it. I've made these before using YS turkey mince.

I use dried herbs and you can add capers or chopped cornichons/gherkins too.0 -

Reporting 3 lbs off tonight
Well done Beanie, you dark horse!! :T:TD out for dinner and cinema tomorrow so will try to be sensible. Any recommendations for cinema nibbles (taking my own, of course)??
.
We went to the cinema today too, and OH took his fudge, and I took a pot of my favourite yogurt in a cool bag (looks like a handbag) and had some of that, and a small packet of Rolos.
Tea
Looks lush as usual *drools*
Sorry the pic is so HUGE!!! :rotfl:
So lunch today was courtesy of the drive thru at McD's, and I asked for salad, and was presented with this. It was so filling I couldn't eat it all! I had taken some SW quiche with me to eat before the cinema, and thought a small salad would go well with it. This is a defiinite 'go-to' if I'm ever really stuck for somewhere to get a bite to eat when out and about in future. I had a small drizzle of the balsamic dressing, but am aiming to keep a stock of salt & pepper and vinegar sachets in the car for in future.
Meal plan yesterday:
B - Banana, baked apple skyr (1.5),
L - lettuce, cucumber, shredded white cabbage & carrot, tomato, shredded chicken thigh, SW quiche portion. LF dressing (1); 0% yogurt with strawberry, melon & nectarine. Didn't eat much of the dessert.
D - Baked potato, cucumber, tomato, cheese HEA1, beans, dressing (2)
HEA2 - milk in tea/coffee
Meal plan today:
B - LO yogurt and fruit (strawberries mango, nectarine & melon) from yesterday's lunch (I was too full to eat it). Waste not want not :money:
L - McD's salad- lettuce, onions, tomato, cucumber, grilled chicken, quiche, dressing (1)
snack - baked apple skyr (1.5), small pack of rolos (9)
D - baked potato, cucumber, tomato, cheese HEA1, beans, dressing (2)
HEa2 - milk in tea/coffee
Having a repeat of last night's dinner because I have a massive spud to eat, and it's not my night to cook, so it's easy peasy to do.One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Is that chicken in the salad sary ? Sounds like a great 'go to' on the road although Subway salads aren't a bad option.0
