    Well done sary , tie and curl girl :T

    I'd say that colleague of yours is spending more on her junk food than SW would cost her sary . :(

    I've had a good day on plan. A few too many eggs but really low syn for a Saturday.

    EE plan:
    B: NAS grapefruit, scrambled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
    L: veggie omelette with salad
    D: salad buffet
    Syns: salad dressings

    Hi Guys, hope everyone is well,

    I lost 0.5lb at group yesterday.

    Since re-joining SW in December I have lost the grand total of 6.5lb!

    Despondent is putting it mildly - not to mention it's getting expensive, as I am the only person in my household who is attempting to eat healthily - usually end up cooking at least 3 x different meals of an evening.

    My health is suffering - I have excruciating pains in my shoulders and knees - blood tests for arthritis came back clear - they only found a vitamin D deficiency which the doctor told me to take over the counter vitamin D tablets, which I am. Have started taking cod liver oil tablets, but only been on them a few days to notice any difference. Had to take 2 x co-codomol this morning as woke up in pain and could barely move.

    Work is difficult, as more and more is expected of us - I am tempted to ask for a pay rise! Or I am tempted to go on the sick.

    Sorry to go off on a tangent there. Happy Sunday Everyone. x

    Well done on the loss sary.
    My sister is adamant that she doesn't eat much but I know she adds butter/cream to everything.
    Wine in gravy etc. It worries me, every time we meet she suggests a drink, or has bought me a cake! I will keep hinting that she needs to lose weight and hope that she listens in the end.

    Well done abbafan 6.5lb loss is great.
    If you hadn't have started in December you could have been heavier still.

    As for different meals, can't you just cook the same for everyone and just add or eliminate slightly.
    I couldn't cope with doing different for everyone!

    Hello all, gosh some of you are going through the mill at the moment aren't you? So sorry to hear your news Chris and Sue - my heart breaks for both of you.

    Glad the op went well Bubbs and hope you're back on your feet soon!

    Ouch Sary to the ninja cat attack! Mine don't go for me as such like that but it can hurt when they catch me by accident.

    Well done on the new job SSM, good luck with it! I started my new role last week and it seems it's going to be a busy one (not a bad thing, compared to the last couple of jobs I've had where there's not much to do and you just watch the clock all the time - excruciating). Anyway I'm just looking forward to being settled in work in a permanent job at last.

    Not going to lie my SW friends.
    I am finding it so difficult to get back on track.
    I know what to do but just cant seem to be able to do it.

    Onto SW chat and I totally relate to this from a few pages back. I've really struggled to motivate myself at all the last few weeks, I'm just fed up of thinking about food all the time and planning meals and making shopping lists. I have succumbed to [STRIKE]the odd[/STRIKE] several pizzas and ready meals :o

    I can relate to you too Abbafan, I've now lost 13lbs in total since January and I was hoping for almost triple that by now. I looked on the SW predictor thing and at my current rate of 1/2lb per week, I won't reach target til summer 2021!!! And I don't even really have a lot to lose! But we have to remind ourselves that we have made some progress this year. Just the fact that I've managed to stop the spiralling out of control of the last few years is a big achievement for me really, so trying not to beat myself up.

    Equally though, I really want to be at target sooner than 2021! So got to get my head down.

    Last couple of weigh ins:
    06.07.19 = 1/2lb loss
    13.07.19 = STS

    Plan for today is ham salad for lunch, and Asda lean sausages (1 syn for two) with sweet potato mash and roast broc for tea. I'm also going to give myself a bit of a spa evening later with face and hair masks and lots of exfoliating and moisturising, so hopefully if I feel a bit better about myself I might be less inclined to chomp on junk.

    Have a good week everyone!
