  • Yet again, life has overtaken me. We got rid of our part time administrator a couple of months ago as there was not much for her, Sod's law dictates that I have been swamped since!

Anyway, based on what I can remember of what I read last, hope everything went well for you Denise & Bubbs, hugs for everyone else.

Got an afternoon tea fundraiser on Saturday. Will be rushed of my feet all day, while I am used to what is involved in doing these sort of things, those in the charity with me probably have no concept, it will be considerably more than the couple of hours for the party itself. I spent nearly 3 hours last Saturday washing all of the crockery for it, which is fine, I had bought a lot of it on the bay of fleas, but suddenly realised that somehow I had 4 cake stands which one of my colleagues had bought but somehow I was the one ending up storing them and washing them, I need to point out I am not the only one in the charity so why is everything dumped on me.

Anyway, on to more pleasant news in GTQ's life, reporting in with not only a-1 1/2lb loss but SOTW in group. Mind you, there wasn't much competition as most of my group went to the early group, but I will take it as it is a decent loss and more importantly, takes me into the next stone down. Total loss so far, 4st 4lb, so 10lb to my original target, a lot later than hoped for, but who knows, maybe this is the start that will get me going again, hope so.

Hi all, I feel like you all know me a little :) and you know I'm a woman of few words, but I feel I have to let you know why I'm not around at the minute.
As a family it's been a difficult year or so, and sadly my daughter-in-law passed on Sunday :(
