2 Didn't manage a walk as Himself isn't quite up to par today but I have avoided alcohol and sweet things and remembered to take all my medication.
3 Started a bit of a routine. Just hope I can stick to it.
4 Fruit for breakfast and salad for lunch.I was going to make something delicious and healthy from the freezer but the Boy didn't make it for dinner last night so we now have half a steak pie to use up. I shall try to avoid the very buttery mash that Himself made and have steamed veg instead.
5 Suggested to Himself that we go somewhere later this week. He agreed it was a good idea. Just have to think of somewhere we'd both like to go.
6 Tidied out some drawers in the bedroom but didn't find anything to get rid of but lots more potions and lotions were lurking in there. Had a look at all the tea we have. I love "fancy" tea and have a whole cupboard full. That is going to replace the alcohol this month.
7. Must wrap Himself's presents and write his card.
Apart from that I've washed the bedding, dried it on the line and put it back on the bed without ironing it and done a bit cleaning. Not a very exciting day but it didn't cost anything.
For my Christian devotional book order being delivered today.
Watching tennis on tv.
Achieving quite a bit this morning.
I have been off work today as took DD2 for an appointment. I managed a short walk while she was seeing the therapist.
I have eaten quite well especially fruit and salad. I have mostly resisted snacking.
I did a medium sized shop in Mr A mostly stocking up on essentials such as loo rolls, toiletries; and tea and coffee - both of these were on offer
I am grateful for - good appointment for DD2; a woodland walk; time to get lots of small chores done; Wimbledon!
A Adventure - Made myself attend cookery course making food from my heritage at a venue I haven't been to in 20 years, used to attend when my dad was alive. Was nervous & probably talked too much, but it was good. There was a chap who I remembered - so had a chat to him, he is now 91!
G Get creative in the kitchen. See cookery course above - brought the food home & DH was very happy to help eat it. I will have another go soon, although it's very labour intensive.
E Eat Beans Day is on the 3rd July. Will do.
N NSDs Will go for low target as we are on holiday as well as DD this week & another week when she goes away later in the month. Today was a spend day, and tomorrow as well so 0/12 NSDs
T Take care in the sun Need to put suncream on as tend to get burned just gardening early in the day. Although am never out at the hottest times.
L Live on what is left Will do.
E Exercise -Have both gardening & DIY to do so that works for me. Did a bit of gardening this morning before going out for the day.
J July food days abound Fried Chicken (6th - try "Kissing' instead), French Fries (13th), Hot Dogs and Peach Ice Cream (17th - No not together), Caviar (18th) Daiquiris (19th). My favourites are Fresh Spinach Day (16th) Blueberry (8th) and Vanilla Ice Cream (23rd). Other Ice cream days are available. Use these as a jumping off point to add some summer fun to your meal plan. Will pick a couple of these.
O (H2)O Water fun. Dogs have made holes in their pool, not sure how to get them in otherwise as they are so large. May have an old plastic one somewhere lurking in the shrubbery.
G Geeks May struggle here.
T Think of those who are ill Both elderly uncles are now suffering from terminal illnesses. Do think of them often.
H Help those in need. Will do my best.
R Relax. Have lots of books & projects to do so need to make a time each do to actually DO them.
O Our Bodies Our Selves. Will deffo be doing this & am starting this week with a pamper day.
U Useless On this, will take some to CS tomorrow.
G Get out and aboutHave been doing this today.
H Half Year Review.Good idea & will work on this.
J Just a couple DH already looks like a combo of these two.
U yUo Usually take food but ate out today. Rarely have takeaways but got lots of YS items in the FS today, so they will feature in the meal planning.
L Look at each purchaseMade a purchase today which is not a need but a want, but it will give me a focus in the winter.
Y You should check in daily, Here I am, hello folks!
World UFO Day
Never be cruel
Never be cowardly
And never ever eat pears
Remember Hate is always foolish
And Love is always wise
Always try to be nice
But Never fail to be kind
And you mustn't tell anyone your name
No one wouldn't understand it anyway
Children can hear it sometimes
If their hearts are in the right place
And the stars are too
Children can hear your name
But no one else ever
The UFO quotes and jokes were just boring and repetitive
