To whinge about gherkins past their BB date is just hilarious! I pickle my own cucumbers & onions, and these things can be safely eaten years after their BB date! Noticed a post too about crisps going soggy, if you wish, wait till your oven is on cooking something, empty the pack on a baking tray, leave them for 2 minutes, take them out, crispy as the day they were packaged!
Honestly, I really worry about the kind of society we seem to have turned in to. 30,000 children on this planet die everyday due to lack of water & food, yet we seem to be obsessed by a date printed on a jar, pathetic...0
