You are not at appeal stage, you are at the pre court stage and you only filled the DQ in recently

    What appeal?

I think you need to read again Bargepole's 'what happens when' post linked from post #2 of the NEWBIES thread.

Have you returned your completed DQ?

Wait for the next stage and stop speculating

In the meantime start drafting your WS and gathering your exhibits, plus email a SAR if not done already, be prepared

Ive had my SAR back from VCS, there are a few other pieces of paper in their that i have not seen and i dont recall ever having a letter before claim.

I am going to look through the defences for the walking off site cases and see what i can put together.
  • So, i now have had a letter from the court.

District Judge XYZ has considered the statements of the case and directions questionnaire filed and allocated the claim to the small claims track.

Having considered the papers in your case, the court believes that your case is suitable for mediation.

I didnt ask for Mediation on my DQ so do i need to just wait no as the letter has not set out a date for a hearing. It just asks i contact the mediation service within 7 days of receiving this letter to use the free service.

    Thanks

So use it and offer zero pounds as a drop hands offer for both to walk away

That way you will have complied with the order

I expect the mediation time to be very short , with no resolution
