After recieving one of these today that looks quite dodgy to me i have looked through the Newbies section and understand i need to write an SAR to VCS and then also AoS to their legal people, i believe are BW Legal in form of an email and not using the form which i have been sent from the Business centre.

I have seen a few posts about the SAR, does it need to be in depth as abedegnos post here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5849784/june-2018-start-of-the-new-ppc-and-dvla-fightback-gdpr-related

or can it be as brief as the legal beagles link in the newbies thread just adding the appropriate wording in from the post ?

many thanks

What is the Issue Date on your Claim Form?

    Re: the SAR...
Follow the guidance offered in post #2 of the NEWBIES thread.
Seems quite clear to me - base it on the LegalBeagles template.

legal beagles template is adequate for a SAR
the SAR goes to the DPO at VCS with a copy of the V5C

although the CCBC form may look dodgy, its legit if it came from the CCBC in Northampton and must not be ignored

the AOS is done online as per the walkthrough in the NEWBIES thread

nothing goes to B W LEGAL at this stage

what is the ISSUE DATE on the top right of the N1 form ?

understand i need to write an SAR to VCS and then also AoS to their legal people,
No that's at Letter BEFORE Claim stage, and AoS has a specific meaning and obviously is done online to the CCB (not to the 'legal people') using MCOL, using the password as the claim form tells you.

Stop reading the stuff about LETTER BEFORE CLAIM as that horse has bolted.

You said you have a N1 Claim form, so what's the 'issue date' top right?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD

With a Claim Issue Date of 24th June, you have until Monday 15th July to do the Acknowledgement of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it. To do the AoS, follow the guidance offered in a Dropbox file linked from post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread. About ten minutes work - no thinking required.

Having done the AoS, you have until 4pm on Monday 29th July 2019 to file your Defence.

That's over four weeks away. Loads of time to produce a perfect Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.

When you are happy with the content, your Defence should be filed via email as suggested here:
      Print your Defence.
    1. Sign it and date it.
    2. Scan the signed document back in and save it as a pdf.
    3. Send that pdf as an email attachment to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk
    4. Just put the claim number and the word Defence in the email title, and in the body of the email something like 'Please find my Defence attached'.
    5. Log into MCOL after a few days to see if the Claim is marked "defence received". If not chase the CCBC until it is.
    6. Do not be surprised to receive an early copy of the Claimant's Directions Questionnaire, they are just trying to keep you under pressure.
    7. Wait for your DQ from the CCBC, or download one from the internet, and then re-read post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread to find out exactly what to do with it.

    What doesn't sound promising?

If I were in your position I would be highly delighted that so many people had responded to my queries within minutes. ;)

its been this way since you ignored all the letters, or if you lost any appeal

not paying the invoice has led to a court claim in the civil court , so not unexpected and was the path you chose when you didnt pay the pcn

get the SAR and AOS done asap, then start drafting your legal defence (not story) , post the draft below when ready
