I have tried searching for a Summary Costs Assessment example but cant seem to find anything that shows me how i should produce this and the layout, i have googled it and there are quite a few to use for solicitors that show how long they have spent doing certain things, should i just do something similar, but what costs do i put against my research and writing things up, replying etc.

Hi, everyone, i hope you are all keeping safe.

I would just like to thank everyone on here that has pointed me in the direction for information and advice.

This monring i have received a letter from the claimant, Notice of Discontinuance, the box is ticked stating discontinues all of this (claim).

I only contacted the court wednesday to see if it was still going ahead, they claimant had paid the court fee and everything.

I dont know if it is due to this outbreak or my witness statement and evidence ?

But again, thank you to everyone that has replied and helped.

Great stuff, VCS chickened out again.  They knew they were up for yet another court spanking

Overnight these companies have had their scam zapped.   Government failed to crush them but the virus did it for us

What do you suggest, claiming for the amount of time i have wasted replying and researching, i think my summary cost assessment came to just over 1k

Right now is a GREAT time to issue a claim to a parking firm, or (for those at defence stage) to do a counter claim.

I would love it if more people took a £35 punt at a claim up to £300, or £60 for up to £1000.
