Afternoon all

Cooler today, much more pleasant!
Enjoy your trip Ally - sounds great
Hope your toothache eases soon DNMS
Small list today:
Cooked lunch with OH - he insists on cooking the meat when we have a roast, as he says that I always overcook it. Anyway, he well overcooked it today, forgot it while faffing about in his blummin shed :rotfl:
Anyway, the HG potatoes and kale, and the HM Yorkshire puddings were nice (I cooked those!) :rotfl:
Watered the garden - can't manage the watering cans yet but can stand mindlessly aiming the hose pipe!
Cut more sweet peas - it smells lovely in here, with 2 vases of sweet peas, 1 of roses that one of the neighbours was throwing out (he was cutting down his hedge) and a pot of lilies kindly given to me by another neighbour
Was very patient :A and tracked down some obscure small parts for a miniature steam engine for a neighbour who has never learned to use the internet  The 'web address' he had been given actually wasn't, but I did manage to find it via Google. And then it didn't have the things he wanted. And it didn't have a secure portal for payment either. And the site's owner apparently hasn't got internet access this week in any case. How to run a business, huh? Luckily ebay came up trumps after a lot of messing about!0 -

Thanks, we are very lucky to live not far from so many amazing places.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0
