    Hi all
    Am having a day off from cover work, as I could not face dropping my car off to shop last night as it would have added 3 hours to a 10 hour work day. So I took it this morning and waited 3 hours for car while reading book, drinking (their) free coffee, and charging phone. Thank you car shop S•x*n Br in MK.
    So I saved 2 train fairs, saved money for car repair as this was a free warranty repair - my headlights and break sensors now work. Phew.
    I will make a quiche w leftovers for dinner and enjoy the free sunshine. It has been a costly month and I am relieved I did not have to pay anything towards car repair, but my warranty is up in a few hundred miles so will get quotes and use local mechanic next time.
    Later I need to send CV to agency who is putting me up for a full time local ish job.
    Time to make some ice cubes in freezer and possibly lemonade from tired looking lemons w homegrown mint.
    Have a great day everybody.

    Hi everyone

    Hope you had a good birthday 1LL. :D

    I have finally sorted baby girl's nappy situ:rotfl: I promise this time, we shouldn't need to buy any more whatsoever!! Finally found some that are, dare I say, perfect on her - no red marks around her legs, no redness whatsoever, no leaks, super quick drying, cute prints and don't look too bulky... :T

    Need to sort YNAB - payday today - first month of statutory maternity :eek:

    Batch cooked chilli so OH had something for lunch.

    Met OH on his lunch yesterday but just went for a walk rather than a coffee. Was lovely.

    Slow cooked chicken today and then HM pizza tomorrow with leftover chicken, onion and cheese.

    Day at home today I think. LO gets her first set of jabs so we'll need to see how she is afterwards:(

    Gorgeous day so might venture out the back with my book and a coffee:D

    Right, I'm gonna try sleeping for another hour...

    Happy Friday everyone :beer:
  • Morning peeps :D I've been up a couple of hours :eek: But have put some of my time to good use and have given the bureau it's final lick of paint. Now just need to seal it and put it in madam's room :beer:

    I've also sorted out the kitchen :eek:

    Today:

    * sewing for dollar :money:
    * sealing bereau
    * load of washing & line dry
    * all meals from stores - get something out of the freezer
    * take pup for 2 x walks
    * quick shower
    * make loaf of bread
    * sit in the garden with book later
    * take library books back

    Ok that will do.

    Thanks for the birthday wishes all :) It wasn't a relaxed day as it was nice out so I made the most of it and gave my car a good clean inside and out then pottered in the front garden for a couple of hours (and my legs ache like crazy this morning from that!) then dh had booked an appointment this way out which then meant he was home early so they could take me out for a meal (and on the early bird offer too so still :money: )
    Todays list
    * usual breakfast routine :)
    * gym and refilled water bottle there :)
    * popped into aldee but took my little list and stuck to it :)
    * shopping all away :)
    * washed 2 loads and hung out (1st load dried in less then an hour!) BB I think we have your sunshine!
    * put a third load in the quick wash as may as well make use of the sun! :)
    * hang ^^ out when done
    * run the dishwasher on the quick wash and empty
    * prep tonights salad
    * hopefully go for a lunchtime walk with dh who's working from home
    * eat in the garden - less mess to clear up after ;)
    * iron the shirts that I've done today and get them away
    * clean kitchen using stardrops and washable cloths
    * check fridge to make sure nothing is being left
    * check arrangements with my parents as we've been invited for a belated birthday lunch (and see if they want me to take anything)
    * check banking/update cashbook
    * talk with dh on our little walk about some spending on the house that we might want to do.

    Thats about it

    Take care all.
