    Finally it happened.
After many years my USA number ceased to work via Lycamobile.  Luckily just before the renewal date . A shame as it was an interesting number (313) for Detroit.  My number was once owned by a drug dealer and customers were always surprised at my accent.  Always very polite though.
Now ported away from them but it was a great product when it worked.

Since Lycamobile took over and closed Toggle I have received a text message every day to my old Toggle number, now with O₂, saying “Your local number has been deactivated for Spain”.

When using ‘Reply’ and typing STOP there is not option to SEND.

Does anyone have any idea how I can stop these texts?

If you contact O2 they should be able to escalate this to their technical team who will be able to see where the text is coming from.

I guess there's a computer still active somewhere injecting texts into the message centre

I have been trying to get O2 to block these text messages which I receive every day.

Initially O₂ said I should forward the messages to 7726, which is there SPAM reporting number; I have done this every day for months but the SMS message keep arriving every night at 00:15 hrs.

When I contacted O₂ again they said the only thing I could do was to change my number which I do not want to do as this number is important to me. Then O2 said I should contact Lycamobile.

I contacted Lycamobile who said that number is not on their system and so there is nothing they can do.

    Should I contact Ofcom?
