Morning MSE world

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. I am back at work today so will pop back in tonight on my shift to properly catch up. Payday Monday (Thank you Monzo early pay) Not much planned today, i need to go get a few bits for work lunches and feed my little car haha. Also need to try sneak in another nap so I am not too tired for work but doubt that will happen

Happy Friday! It looks like its going to be a lovely day   Hope everyone all good.

Payday been and gone, all pots filled as intended and also managed to reach my goal of paying off both the debts i wanted to so just got to decide plan of action with other remaining debts, that is for another day though today is enjoy sun day 

Also for the first time like ever purchased breakdown cover for car by paying full (this responsible adult stuff does work) also managed to get cashback of 25% too - i am like a new person hahaha

wow - it's a good moment when you start to be able to take the savings on offer from not being underwater the whole time - look at the debt figure nearer £2k than £3k and what did you start at £6k or something in a year or so.  well done you

Thanks Mark. Yeah it is a nice feeling to be able to gain some progress to be able to grab those little wins by being able to pay in full. The debt progress as been a shock if I am being honest, but it is a fab feeling to be able to see the figure coming down. Its only when I write down the figures I see how well I have done

Hey All,

Hope everyone is good. Ah what a long day! I have spent last few days in Scotland with gf and her family, her mum isn't too well and with all the COVID stuff she hasn't seen her family for a while. So she is staying for three weeks with the little one but i had to drive back today due to work commitments, so here is to three weeks seeing how i cope as an adult haha.

Although I am hoping to get bathroom and if lucky kitchen painted but lets see.

Good luck getting the painting done but take some time for you too, it's not often we get such a period of time partner and child free so make the best of it (can you tell I'm a little bit jealous 😳😉).

Hi Dancing

Yes the figure is coming down quite quickly now, there is one debt left that is under the £300 mark so that will be my next target, then I need to make some sort or arrangements with the final three that account for rest of the 2k. I do hope I can do it by December but think it might just go over that.

Haha yeah circumstances have kind of made it this way, which isn't ideal tbh but I am just trying to focus on being positive and hoping things work out as they should. I just need to keep myself busy and the bathroom as been screaming out for some TLC for a while lol - not sure how I will cope been on my own for three weeks though.
