Evening All,
Hope everyone has had a nice Sunday. Its been a little windy here, so was a nice relaxed day. I have updated my signature to reflect new balance on my debt now the standard payments have been made.
DT1 - 23/6 £219.67 - Now £100
DT2 - 23/6 £300 - Now £200
No progress made on other debts but I am making steady progress and by the end of July I will be ready to move on to clearing DT3,4 & 5.
Food spends have increased slightly over the last month but this again has been countered by petrol costs not been very high. I would anticipate this to be the case this month too has I am not working as many days this month of July
Main costs this month were the new tyres fitting, which were paid for from our saved up funds, i ended up having to put £20 to so that was a victory.

You have basically cleared off a debt if the sum of DT1 and DT2 are now as much as DT2 was before, therefore eradicating DT11

I think I’m in mindset now of every spare penny goes to debts so I need to be careful, I bought some stuff out of personal bugdet today and it wasn’t extravagant but I still felt guilty even though it was well budgeted for.
Hope you are keeping well x1 -
I know exactly what you mean but try not to do that (although I do the same!) but making ourselves feel guilty is just wasted energy really. I guess it's similar to dieting if people restrict extreme then they will be at risk of a binge/ splurge. You're doing really well and you are on track for becoming debt free by the end of the year that's some achievement.Poppy19-02-18 Total Debt £30,322

Hey All,Wow, didn't realise it had been so long since last post (sorry diary) - I have kept up to date mainly with other diaries but just haven't really been in a good place IRL just lots of distractions/generally feeling meh! So haven't really posted much. Dad being back in and out of hospital again which has caused lil sister to have several issues. Also had other family issues with gran & granddad both falling seriously ill. Among many other things it just felt not a good time to be posting but we are back, I need to stop feeling sorry for myself over things and keep going. Things at work are also getting a little frustrating but this is easing a bit i just need to refocus. Also been feeling very tired and like i have no energy or get up and go but today this needs to change! I still am in a little comprised place (some of it my own doing unfortunately) but i am starting to get somewhere so lets go!In more positive news I have not increased in debt wise, my budget is looking really good still and i have money in pots ready for an over-payment which currently stands at nearly enough to pay off the lower of my debts but i don't want to pay just yet in case something comes up through the month. It looks like though my target of paying off both debts by July payday is defo going to happen though.Time to refocus my energy and start getting into gear. I will properly catch up on diaries and i also need to make a plan for where rest of my debts fall into thisHope everyone is doing well1
