    Morning All,

What a bloody late night that was, I thought I would be shattered and sleep straight away but nah my brain was like you defo don't need that haha. So eventually got to sleep at 4am, back awake at 9am.

    Today plan of action -

    - Wash, iron and sort my work clothes for the week
    - Clean the kitchen, do the recycling that has accumulated
    - Vac the living room and tidy round
    - Clean the little whirlwinds bedroom - she had friends over last week 🤣
    - Prep the bathroom and look online for stuff I need to do this.

Hopefully this should be sufficient to keep me busy for today haha. Hope everyone has a great Sunday

Just try and keep a bit of routine, and don't have too many (or too few) takeouts/beers.  Don't try and quantum leap the house 10 years forward in 3 weeks, but do a bit - all the jobs that you don't want to be disturbed by kids but aren't so dangerous for home alone working

Maybe do some fitness work/walking with a playlist, don't do what I would do and sit in front on MSE/FB/Twitter for a few hours cause your'e feeling a but meh!

Eat all your old favorites that your OH doesn't like - mine is Sardines - very tasty and really cheap from Lidl - and actually OK for you, even if not as good as fresh
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine

Thanks Mark, some of the routine stuff should be quite easy to keep. Although I am a sucker for doing the MSE/FB/Twitter thing cos I feel crap, then at end of day when the hours have dwindled by I feel crap for not doing the tasks haha. I am going to try sort out some stuff to go in garage, its so difficult when the little ones around coz she just wants to 'help' and gets under feet. Its weird for the first time in a long time I have properly meal planned coz I am only planning for me so was quite easy. I did have a few drinks last night and pizza but I won't have many of those nights. I am determined to get some stuff done, but also rediscover some of the stuff I don't do anymore - I am hoping next week weather is decent so I can go out walking in peak district - sounds daft but this is my go to place when i need to think. I am hoping to get some running done and maybe also might take in a few attractions - although it feels bad enjoying myself whilst other stuff is going off.

Its so easy to just fall out of normal stuff - 3 things I need to keep or start is a proper night routine, a decent getting out of bed time and breakfast and run so i can start day well.

Thank you for your continued advice/support Mark, it is appreciated

    Merry Monday MSE world

I managed to get all the tasks from yesterday completed :) - got another day off work today to try get through some more stuff. I need to clean the kitchen...Yay can hardly contain my excitement. Last night was pretty relaxed I had spoke with the little one on face time for a bit and had some fun with that, then settled down with dinner and tv, before heading off for early-ish night.

I need to try make some time for gym too, I might go a little later. Other than that not much else to really do. Although I need to try make contact with other creditors to try set up some sort of plan moving forward...I think there is a possibility that some circumstances are going to be changing in next few weeks but trying to not focus too much on that right now (think positive!!!) So it may be wise to hold off on the other creditor stuff whilst that figures itself out.

Anyway hope you all have a fab Monday

And thats the end of another day - trying to post more to keep myself active and on track

I did manage to finish cleaning the kitchen (although still got oven to clean but need to get right stuff on my next days off). All clothes for next two work days sorted and ready so i can sneak an extra 30 mins haha.

Dinner was bolognese with chips as i needed to use mince up before going off, also got some left over for lunch tomorrow so i will take that and some rice. All washing up done so none of that to come in to after work tomorrow :)

Hopefully will check in at some point tomorrow, its my first early start at work for about 6 weeks - my body is gunna hate me in the morning 🤣😅. I also just reminded myself while writing this I need to put some chicken out to defrost so will do that before taking myself of to bed to try have a early (well for me) night. Take care all

There goes the end of another weekend :)

Hope everyone has enjoyed the sun the best they can. I have enjoyed some sun and enjoyed the weekend. I played football with the work lads on Friday and now my body officially hates me haha. I chilled on Saturday and finally got my light fitted in living room (only been boxed up for a year - we got from Ikea whilst in a sale) I do love it though now its up. I then went out with a friend for a walk and coffee this morning and we had a proper catch up, we have both had some serious meh stuff go off and it was so nice to catch up and just feel totally comfortable around someone who has no other motive than being decent, which is nice given some of the rubbish that I have had to try deal with and come to terms with recently. Do you ever just wish you had listened to people who tried to warn you someone wasn't a good person and had crap intentions?? lol. Anywaaaaays I have had a few facetime chats with the little one who now know how to unlock partners phone and call Daddy hahaha, its back to nights tomorrow so be a late one for me tonight and hopefully sleep through day tomorrow. Although one part of work is tough, other side is that I may possibly getting a promotion shortly into a new role so lets see how that progresses. I just need to keep my head down at the moment whilst i try keep everything in check and get in a good place in my mind

Hope everyone has a good week :) - budget wise I am doing really good, food spends are obviously a little less on my side but then partner is needing food while she is away too so it balances out - although I did go to a retail outlet with bro on Friday morning and spent way too much but it was budgeted and didn't go on cards or increase debt

    sounds like a good weekend

good luck at work its always unsettling when one role is ending and the next is being lined up

its very quiet on here at the moment, I think everyone is taking some down time

Thanks Mark, yeah its tough coz whilst i know i can do the role and in theory its more money ( the guy is on about 4k a year more than my role) I fear they would want me to do it for less than he is on - but it is a huge step to where I eventually want to end up plus I already do parts of his role, it also becomes Monday - Friday 8am -4pm rather than a 12 hours days/nights pattern so there is lots to like so lets see.

Glad that things seem to be going well on your side too - its defo strange times although i do sense some sort of normality returning whether that is slightly premature or not is still to be debated i guess

Hi Dan - how are you doing.  Just been looking through my old diary's and we had a good banter back in the day so I thought I would just check up.  No need to reply if you are taking a well deserved break from us all

Hi Mark - Thanks for checking in, I hope you/family are all well.

Not so much a break just in a bit of an holding pattern at present with the debt. Also life has thrown a few challenges my way so whilst I'm coasting along and still checking in on diaries I haven't updated my diary so much (I will fix this with a proper update as I now am dealing with the meh everyday life stuff) I do need to get back on it though, as this diary does really keep me sane. The budget is still holding up though and financially sound - just feel a little stagnated at present as debt not come down this month due to waiting on correspondence from creditors.
