    Morning All,

Last few days have been nice and chilled spent time just enjoying relaxing. Not really much MSE wise enjoyed a NSD but today need to pick up a few bits from T*sco today. Hopefully i may be able to make a small additional payment to debt but we shall see.

In other news the hospital think my Dad could be in a position to come home, all the tests they needed to complete have come back clear and he is in a much better place. He has one more test and if all good he can come home so that is positive.

    have a good day everyone

:) thank you, he will probably been screaming to go back way step mum nags :rotfl: but yeah it is nice to know he is not seriously hurt, although his story of asking the nurse to do the airplane when feeding him ice cream when he was drugged up certainly made me giggle!! x

Today the journey to looking for a new job starts...i am getting a little frustrated in my current role for various reasons, however the shift work is starting to take its toll on me very much. Also when in work day shift i am meant to get 1 hour lunch but never get this and always feel like i have to work through it as no one is there to cover the work while i take lunch. I have seen a couple of jobs that interest me but always unsure if i meet what is needed but i am determined to get new job. One i am applying for i got offered interview in March and it turned out it was only 3 month contract so i turned it down, however they have emailed saying the position full time is open and permanent if i wish to be put forward.

In debt news one of my debt totals has dropped from £245 to £98, however kinda feels like cheating as lowell offered me a 60% discount on balance, i accepted so will be paid in 3 months installments, but i free some money up from my monthly outgoings this month due to some other debts been cleared so may just clear it in September. Tonight will need to be early night but as in work tomorrow, but tonight i need to apply for the other job plus firm up August payday budget
  • Great news on the dad front. So happy to hear he's well on the mend.

Your job sounds similar to mine. I, too, don't get a lunch break as such. Wouldn't happen to work in hospitality would you?

    Thank you :)

I work in an office just doing customer service/admin role but its a very strange environment and the day shift is so busy but the only have 1 person doing the helpdesk and cover other tasks too, then management just do their thing. I have had 1 day when i had lunch and that was my first day 18 months ago haha, i eat at my desk but still got to work whilst eating

    Evening All,

Hope u've all had amazing weekend. I have been working which sucks in one sense but is also good for the bank balance, minus the mcds breakfast! haha.

10 days til payday and everything all going well, still plenty in the food budget and fuel budget no more major spends or bills to pay, hopeful i will be able to make a small over payment on one the debts nearer the end of the month.
