Pleased to hear your Dad seems to be on the mend. I think if you put your point across fairly and calmly to step mum you’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain. As you say your Dad needs support right now, other issues can be addressed later. Hope it all goes well.0

Hey All,
hope everyone is doing okay. Not really done much today. Took the little one to soft play as she had spent a lot more time in a hospital than I would like so wanted her to get some time been a kid. I then went to visit dad and they were discussing plan of action and the support in place when he leaves so that is all good he making so much positive steps.
I had the 'chat' she mentioned not to forget she was going on holiday in a few days. I just said she needed to watch who she was telling what was happening and these are not even people we know and she just stormed off!! I was not rude or shouty I just explained I found it unacceptable she is giving details of what has happened to neighbours. So i reckon she has now fallen out with me.
In MSE news not really much going off but the debt is not increasing so that is a good thing lol0 -
Sounds like you had a nice day with the little one and got her out, running around.
Glad to hear things are going well on the dad front and good on you for having the chat. If she can't see the sense in what you're saying and is more focused on being childish, shame on her.
Yes, debt increasing is never a good thing so as long as that isn't happening, let's count it as a win! haha.0 -
Well done for having the chat, it clearly needed to be said, and her reaction speaks volumes!
Glad you had a nice visit with your dad x0 -

Thank you AliciaLittle one loved it, not really been the most interesting few days for her with all the visits to hospital but she takes it in her stride as usual she is an amazing little kid!! Dad still making progress but aware its a long road back.
I like no increase in debt but this last week as taken its toll on finances as been eating on the go, plus parking, petrol so yeah not ideal as i wanted to pay some of debt but i guess life as its bumps0 -

She might realise if she took a second to think how her actions affected everyone except her! lol. I didn't even be mean, just honest0 -
Morning All,
That is my 1st night shift nearly done.
Its looking pretty gloomy here, so think its going to be a day of doing not much, will probs sleep til about 1 and then think its a tv day til ready for work haha.
To Do Today
- Contact car insurance to change Direct Debit to fall in line with my pay date as currently middle of month and starting to annoy me that it falls out line with rest. Pretty sure they will charge for this though.
- Contact breakdown cover company for the same reason.
Hope you all have a great day0 -
