I'm gonna have a thorough look around the house t'moro for anything else I can stick on ebay or amazon, I'm sure there will be something kicking around the house.

I was gonna sell my laptop for spares but have decided to be a good big sister and give it to my little sister - well to my mum, who's gonna pay to get it fixed then give it to my little sister for her birthday in April (oh my god, she will be 13) I suggested asking family members to contribute towards it being fixed as part of her present then it wont cost so much for my mum which she thinks is a brill idea - my sister has been carping on about a new laptop for ages bless, she will be so excited.

Wow so pleased to see so many people joining me on my challenge and you are all doing so much better than me.

Work has been so busy I haven't had time to do anything.

I have managed to get one of my phones off to Envirophone so thats £12 coming my way. Have some others to go on but doing them one at a time to get my quidco cashback too lol.

Will be putting some bits on ebay this weekend and its payday on Tuesday so will be paying my first chunk off the devils card

Hi All!

Havent been able to get online in a wee while. Living without constant internet access is hard!!!
Hopefully willl have it fixed by sunday so look out for my daily boredom posts!

I dont get paid till monday (boohoo!) but have had such a massive amount of motivation for this challenge.

I took some items back to Paperchase (wedding stuff) so thats £40 going back into my c/acc which I havent really missed so I figure I'll pay that off, my standing payments to my credit card are £200 so I'll be paying that on monday.
I also took some photos for work which were used for our instore graphics (nice little sideline when it happens) doesnt pay much, but then I do it in their time, click and send. So thats another £50 to come as well...

I've also managed to take something from the cupboard into work every day so far this week so I havent been going out and spending money on food, so thats helpful!
Cant wait to get paying it off!

DoodleDo hun, whats this about environphone? Do they pay for old mobile phones or something? Or did you buy one off them and your getting £12 from Quidco?

Well, My Wages and Bonus have gone into the Bank and I'm actually in Credit now, going to try moving some payments back a couple of days to try and stay in Credit for a bit longer every month. Can't wait till I'm permanently in Credit. Going to try and do as much as possible over the weekend to get a bit more money coming in.

Envirophone basically recycle your phone and pay you for it.

So easy I registered with them via Quidco (£3.60 cashback I think) and put in the phone I have, they give you a price for it based on it working etc. They send you a freepost envelope, you send the phone they send a cheque.

They will even take non working phones, they test them then give you an offer for it.

Seems a fab idea to me clearing crap from my house, a bit of extra cash and recycling.

Always best to check ebay first though in case you have a particularly good phone, but this seems so much simpler to me.

If you have more than one phone do them individually as you get another £1.40ish cashback if you do any subsequent phones through quidco

hi there are many shops in the high streets who also do this, usually in indoor markets and the like and you get cash in hand.Also another one like this is computer games any lying around i think gamestation takes them.

Also Chips and Game for old PC or Console Games, although you get more back if you trade in against purchase of a new game, rather than for Cash. We've sold a few on ebay and they've done really well. They also sell better if you haven't used the game code on line.
