  • Hey guys,

I'm a bit cranky today, I literally had to force myself out of bed, and was still nearly ten minutes late due to god awful traffic. I'm also grumpy as the ready meal I bought from Aldi on Saturday went out of date on Monday, and I didn't think to check it so brought a lunch to work I can't eat, and will have to buy something.

I did get ALL of my to-do list done yesterday, so that's something at least :)

We are going to watch Star Wars at midnight tonight, so I doubt I'll be in a much better mood tomorrow :rotfl:

Not much else to report, someone in our running club WhatsApp group is a physio so was explaining what my appointment is going to be like, which was kind of him. Less than 3 weeks to go :)

Need to fill up my car today, although my last tank lasted 15 days, so that's a bonus. I do have a very long drive to and from my family on Saturday, but as I won't be driving on Wednesday or Thursday next week to work, it shouldn't cost too much more in the long run, fuel wise.

I really cannot wait for two days off next week, just to get an extra break away from my workplace!

Haha sabotage away, I'm always interested in other people's experiences!

Physiotherapy is definitely expensive, that's why I had to fall into the NHS queue for it as I couldn't afford to do it outside of the NHS, not that the private physios helped me!

haha we all love some drama right....especially if it is someone else drama :rotfl:

Its just that one of work colleagues is a sport massagist (if that is even a word) hahaha, so offered to give a few sessions cheaper to see if they could help, which is perfect i get cheaper option and the colleague gets a bit extra income. Unfortunately for me this colleague is female so i am pretty sure my GF is not going to be impressed with that idea at all!! So i reckon it is probably for the best to turn down that offer..even though i believe it was made with good intentions. It would possibly rock the boat a little closer to the edge than i would like right now.

Although this does kinda make me wonder if i went to a pro in like a medical centre if they were female how does this go...hahaha well maybe that is the drama for new year...oh my life :rotfl::rotfl:

Enjoy Star Wars and the days off, I now also have a four days off so looking forward to that

Haha I get where you are coming from, my OH was never exactly over keen when I went to see a new male injury person or physio, especially if they managed to fit me in slightly out of hours. Thankfully I could assure him all I had to take off for my treatment was my sock :rotfl: So I sympathise :rotfl: I would say ask her if she'd be comfortable with it, but "it would possibly rock the boat a little closer to the edge than i would like right now" suggests maybe it's not the best time to be asking :o

Read the letter from the hospital at last, says to leave a good few hours for parking in case they want to do all their tests etc after their assessment, so sounds promising at least that it'll be worth taking the day off and driving over :)

Going to make a teeny OP to my CC shortly, £5-£7 depending on how much clears on PA before I leave for the cinema :)

haha I wouldn't mind if I was some sort of well sculpted well worked out guy that has girls falling at his feet haha, but I can assure you once this girl whips out my leg that is all see will want to whip out :rotfl::rotfl:

Its been a rough few months, I dunno really what it is I guess when you have been together for as long as we have and we are both still relatively (just about young) :rotfl: it can all feel a little like you just fall into a routine and when you add a little one into the mix with no family support at all and then the shifts I work it doesn't always mix well. I know I sound a bit moany and I know we just need to push through and find ways to spend quality time together, which isn't always easy. Its hard to explain haha but i just know she would think i had other intentions if i was to proceed even though that is not the case.

Sometimes there is just little niggly bickering over nothing at all really but then can result in tension. I dunno, i guess all couples have this at some point maybe but we had a spell where she was away looking after her mum for a long time so although we were still together it was very much her and child in one part of UK and me in the other fpr about 15 months and it just hasn't been the same since. I just don't do well with adult decisions:rotfl: maybe just overthinking it

Oh that first bit did make me chuckle :rotfl:

No I get you, it can be hard to work on things when you don't have the time that often to spend quality time together, we go through phases like that when we're both working contrasting hours and a lot on our plates and stressed. I'm sure you'll get through it xx
  • Morning world :hello:

All the coffee in the world will be needed today as I got home from the cinema at 3am, eventually feel asleep, then had to get up and ready at half past 6, just feel a bit sleepy at the moment but I will no doubt get super tired and cranky later on in the day :rotfl: it was worth it though, it was great watching all three of the Star Wars movies and I thoroughly enjoyed the final one :)

I ended up paying £7.50 off of CC1 (actually, my only CC!!!!) yesterday, less than 1% :rotfl: hopefully a few more bits clear on prolific over the weekend and I can pay some more off.

Right, time for the usual penny-earning day x

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Yeah I am pretty sure we will be fine, I am determined to. I guess as adults we all have challenges to overcome and it is how we deal with those the will define the future.

Glad you enjoyed the movies, despite the tiredness this morning. Coffee is the solution :rotfl:

    Have a great day xx

PS well done on the payment to your CC:T
  • That felt like the world's longest day :rotfl:

However I got home and had a nice long bath, got some food in the oven then I will just chill in bed and do some work, if I fall asleep too early I'll be up at the crack of dawn. Although, technically speaking that would probably make me late for work :rotfl:

Had a bit of a lightbulb moment fitness wise earlier, I could potentially in three weeks have been diagnosed and have a treatment plan in place, I want my body to be a little accustomed to working out again when the time comes, not have it be a total shock the system and ache for days, so I'm going to try and do some little mini-exercises through out the day, some squats here, a plank there, maybe throw in some tricep dips, just to warm my muscles up a little each day.

We are doing our Christmas food shop tomorrow evening as I am out and about visiting family all day on Saturday, so won't have time to do my usual food shop then, and OH is off so we can go together.

I'm watching "Wild" this evening, I've never seen it the whole way through but do enjoy what I have seen of it so far.

I need to pick up an extra gift for my nan for Christmas as she is getting me some earrings for my gift that cost more than my share of her nail salon voucher, so I'll pick up an extra present for her to open, too.

Right - the oven timer is calling me, time for food and to log some more hours!
  • Happy Friday :hello:

Despite constant reminders OH has forgotten to buy and send Christmas cards for his brothers, so I will need to run out and buy, write, and send those today in order to get them posted in time. Men :rotfl:

I might also see if I can pick up a santa hat whilst I'm not having a NSD, I'm feeling driving to my family tomorrow to deliver presents with a santa hat on :rotfl:

I need to put fuel in my car later, finally remembered to bring my bank card AND Costco card to work so will fill up on the way home, I *may* also make the most of this spendy day, and purchase a few of those radiator racks that let you dry more at the same time, mostly to be able to dry more at the same time but also as I think they've used cheap paint in the house and sometimes it comes off on the wet clothes if they touch the wall behind the radiator. I think they are cheap enough :)

That's all I've really got planned to purchase other than the food shop and an extra gift for my nan, I'm getting my hair done tomorrow morning then straight off to visit the family, aiming to leave around lunch time to be with them early afternoon, and head back whenever I feel like it, really.

Then Sunday OH and I both have all day off together, which should be nice, had hoped to be able to go to Winter Wonderland but I don't think it's really in our budget, we shall see.

Oh, I also need to pick up an address book as OH has misplaced mine during our move, and I've been a bit lost without it!
