  • Well, about ten seconds after I wrote that, the money came in!

CC2 is now paid off, CC1 received a payment of £325 to keep it under £1000 when the interest hits in a few days, will add the target onto my sig when that interest goes on, so that I've got my proper figure...

Here's to a debt figure that's only 3 numbers long for the first time in YEARS :beer:

Yay for you, last debt being targeted!
  • Yay to 3 numbers, well done :T:T
As for YNAB as your debt free treat well why not? ;) :money:
  • Morning everyone :hello:

Estimating £989 remaining on CC1 once the interest has been added, so popped that in for now.

Had a spendy Saturday, needed some more gift wrap and tags for presents, almost done now, just need to pick up a gift voucher for my Nan from myself and one of my brothers, and order something for one of my sisters, and I am 100% done (I think haha)

As mentioned, I'll get the above two gifts today, I need to pop into Boots and update my number with them for my prescription and also see if it is ready, pay for that if it is, and pick up the click and collect present for my nephew.

That should be my spending done until the weekend, then. I am getting my hair done Saturday morning and then driving to see family for the day and exchange gifts to go under the trees, so no doubt will end up spending some money there, too.

Tonight will involve tackling the mountain of ironing that has accumulated after the mountain of washing I did at the weekend, and trying to cram in some more work if there is any - I want to get next year off to the best start possible!

Our new bed is so comfy :j :j

I really can't believe it's just over a week until Christmas, the last few weeks have flown by xx
  • I've had a sign that I should definitely treat myself to YNAB in the new year - I got another free trial offer which will tide me over until I can pay for the subscription :rotfl:

Picked up all of the presents, so I am basically done with the Christmas shopping now, very pleased with that as some years I would still have been waiting for the early payday to hit and do a mad dash around and waste lots of money...!

Now on my to-do list for tonight is to wrap the presents I have left to wrap and put them into the right gift bags so that they are literally ready to go when I need to take them anywhere.

I think I should get paid on Christmas eve this year, so will sit down and work out the budget up until I get my SE wages mid-January, and see what I can pay off of CC1 before clearing it mid-month. I know I have our first sky bill due right at the end of this month, though I will recoup £50 in cashback for that at the end of February, and owe OH for my half of our bed.
  • The stars definitely seem to be aligning for YNAB :rotfl:
  • They are indeed ;)

Got some good news today - got my "referral" letter through for the triage team for my foot, and it's actually a pre-booked hospital appointment in the first week of January, so only round the corner :j I have no idea what the appointment will actually entail, but it is progress nonetheless! It does mean a day off of work, too, as it's not just an in-and-out appointment. Very pleased with the fact that it's at a hospital and in a few weeks, feels promising :D

Basically done with Christmas shopping now, can't think of anything else I will need to buy (although I am sure there will be something)

Today will be a NSD, need to get some cotton wool pads but I will get those from Boots and use my points to get them.

That's it for now, really, bit of a boring update, just plodding along with my SE work as usual :) x
  • Me again :hello:

Nothing else remotely interesting to add, I just came on here to give myself a to-do list for tonight :rotfl:

    - Finish ironing
    - Finish wrapping Christmas gifts
    - Clean the oven (i.e. spray it and give it a bit of a scrub, no deep cleaning lol)
    - Catch up on His Dark Materials
    - Try and squeeze in a little bit of work
    - Post the only Christmas card that requires posting
    - Catch up on diaries!

    X

    Hey

Great news re the triage, i so hope this is a step in the right direction to finally getting this issue resolved. I also think i need to re-assess the whole knee situation it is getting worse so after xmas i am going to try get mri sorted. I think physio stuff could sort but it is so expensive and i can not justify that much, there is a solution but that brings its own issues and dilemma (whole diff long story so i will not sabotage your diary..i will maybe elaborate on my own update :rotfl: my life just creates drama hahaha)

Just noticed the signature update you are soooooo close :j

Haha sabotage away, I'm always interested in other people's experiences!

Physiotherapy is definitely expensive, that's why I had to fall into the NHS queue for it as I couldn't afford to do it outside of the NHS, not that the private physios helped me!
