they could just cancel the outstanding charges and close the case off !!! that would negate it somewhat
    Wouldn't that be great!
  • Draft of a reply to be sent today:

I ask that this is completed within a month of the request in line with the timescales laid out by the ICO. If this compliance is not met then I will be making a full complaint to the ICO for a breach of the Data Protection Act 2018 (GDPR).
If any further delay to a response occurs then I would request each PCN you believe is unpaid is cancelled forthwith or at the very least that a POPLA code is provided for an appeal to be made.

    *Any feedback appreciated*

Request sent via email on 7th Aug, so deadline 7th September.

9th September. Posted on 7-Aug (Friday) means presumed delivered on 10-Aug (Monday). 30 days after 10-Aug is 9-Sep.

Request was emailed to DPO on 7th and receipt acknowledged on the same day. In which case, that would make deadline the 6th September, no?
Quoted 7th in reply to the PPC, which is the next working day.

Not if it was after working hours on 7th.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Not if it was after working hours on 7th.
SAR sent via email 7th August before 5pm
Acknowledgement received and PCN ref requested by PPC for clarification 7th August before 5pm
PCN ref provided 7th August before 5pm
No further response until August 11th from PPC advising they wouldn't be able to work on it until 7th September.
As of 5pm today (7th September) still no information provided by the PPC. Contacted ICO for next steps who said complain to PPC first and then give them 1-2 weeks to rectify before lodging ICO complaint!?!?

Seems quite straightforward. Be guided by the ICO.

All the talk about thirty days, working days, weekends, etc, are just adding confusion.

The company has one calendar month to respond to a Subject Access Request.
See here - How long do we have to comply?
  • So, the CST law letter before claim has come through today. Funny, I don't recall ever receiving their SAR reply. Which I'll remind them of. Just ignore this letter and wait for official court papers?
