I am expecting the new e-Regular saver i15 to be launched in Early March (two months after i14). It seems that the pattern for the launch of new e-Regular saver has been broken ??
After a gap of a year from the regular e-saver issue 12 to issue 13 on 1/11/19, issue 14 was launched on 20/1/20.

I guess an issue 15 any time in March would still maintain the pattern.

Bumping this up in light of tomorrows interest payments on these accounts.

Wonder if anyone will be doubly lucky?

Thanks for the heads up, I'd forgotten all about the mid-term interest payment.
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)

On the early issues of the VM regular saver there was a glitch whereby they paid out double interest on the maturity date

There was a process that involved withdrawing the interest at a specific point in time but this has now been corrected.

In my opinion keeping double the interest that was meant to be paid is theft.

I'm still annoyed that I paid my extra interest back but have been taxed on it by HMRC - I did complain, but they didn't seem to understand the issue. I've chased it up more than once.

@Frogletina, Thank you for this information. It is good to know in advance how HMRC might treat issues like this. I hope you are successful in getting this corrected.

I guess with hindsight it would have been better to let VM correct the error themselves. However I do recall reading that they had asked some people to pay back the money. If this was the case with you it is doubly annoying.

With this new information I should withdraw my opinion that this is theft. HSBC paid me a double switching bonus and when I informed them they told me to keep it. I felt it was wrong so it went to charity.
