Looking to send off the form for the transfer of store RS 16 due to mature on 1 May, do I need to send off the book with the form as never done this by post before? Thanks

There will be a letter, hopefully with improved facilities like FP or an addressed envelope. They have to do something with the stores closed.akh43 said:Looking to send off the form for the transfer of store RS 16 due to mature on 1 May, do I need to send off the book with the form as never done this by post before? PS: or is 'the form' you mention their letter? I've had nothing so far.

I have a couple of forms & envelopes they gave me in store when I went in to close RS 15 in case I wanted to request the closure/transfer of other accounts by post, but can't remember whether I was supposed to enclose the book with the form.

If you have any online account with them at all you should contact them by secure message. I have had fixed postal accounts with them in the past and you have always been able to go online to click a link which enables you to inform them of your maturity instructions.akh43 said:Looking to send off the form for the transfer of store RS 16 due to mature on 1 May, do I need to send off the book with the form as never done this by post before? It can't do any harm enclosing the pass-book.akh43 said:I have a couple of forms & envelopes they gave me in store when I went in to close RS 15 in case I wanted to request the closure/transfer of other accounts by post, but can't remember whether I was supposed to enclose the book with the form.1 -
You can download and print the forms from the website. I think they are under useful savings forms.

Unless they've changed the rules re covid, you had to send the pass book for maturity w/d from a store ac.

Another positive aspect of the recent regular savers being online.

Even Monmouthshire BS allowed me to close my regular saver online. If you don’t ask you don’t get. Most banking staff are working from home be easier for them if you close other than post"Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0

I messaged them this afternoon but was told that they require a signature and so either need a form or a letter for them to carry out a transfer.typistretired said:Even Monmouthshire BS allowed me to close my regular saver online.
