If you've been contributing the maximum amount at the earliest opportunity you'll have about £3541 in the account.
- At 3% (until maturity) it earns 29p per day interest.
- At 0.5% (after maturity) it will earn 5p per day.
- If you transfer to an account earning 1.5% it will earn 15p per day.
I can do the maths, what I didn't know is what the interest rate is on the last day if I closed on 21st, 3% or 0.5%. I can go on 20th or 21st when I pass by.0 -
I see issue 14 has finally been released. However at 2% it's not much to get excited about.0

Does Virgin allow multiple different Issues held at the same time?0
-
yes, i have multiple issues at the moment0
-
It's the reason the Virgin Money Regular Saver is so popular on here and warrants its own board0

Stupid question... What are the differences between the 'issues'? The numbers don't seem to increment as a new 'issue' is released. So how often is there a new issue, what are the typical differences (duration, interest?) and what's the logic of the numbering system.0

The next online issue will be number 15, logically following number 14. I think you could probably bet your house on thatIt will probably be introduced about late March - though it's only a guess based on the previous 35 Virgin RSs that I've had.
I would be surprised if the interest rate was anything but 2%.
You will hear about it first on here0 -

The last was 13, the current is 14 and - as stated above - it is a racing certainty that the next will be 15. Geddit?
Re: Term and Conditions, as Yorkshire Boy might, briefly, put it, RTFM....;)0 -
But there seems to be like a Regular Saver Issue 17? That is why I got confused.0

Regular saver issue 17 is a store only account.
The recent issue 14 is a Regular E-saver which is an online account.
They are two different lineages. The next Regular E-saver will be issue 15 probably in about 2 months time.0
