Virgin Money Regular Saver Thread

When I'm online I've got a string of Easy Access e-Saver Reward accounts that were the destination of maturing online RSs over the years. All are showing as 'read only'. The guff received today about Store 19 maturing shortly includes the T&Cs for Easy Access Saver Reward Issue 27. The interest rate at 0.75% variable is around the sort of rate for current account money, and could be interesting. So when do these accounts become 'read only' if anyone has kept one of these accounts going?0

Just in case the new online issue 19 announced today creates correspondence, perhaps it should be here to avoid complaints. 1% fixed, matures 20.11.21.4

Had my letter today outlining my options for when issue 19 matures on 2/11. I can’t see anything in the t&c’s about sending in the passbook with my maturity instructions, am I correct?Save £12k in 2020 #42 £12,551.25 / £14,000 89.65%0

I've sent mine in. It can't do any harm and it avoids a delay if someone at Virgin decides the passbook is required.
It comes back eventually updated.1 -

Saying that though, since the bottom has dropped out of the rates, likely not to pay any tax this year on interest so changes the equation ever so slightly1
