Unfortunately yes. My only other options from here are either Enfield or Chlelmsford. I do not drive & the train fare to the other two stores would wipe out any interest benefit.
Thanks anyway0 -

I feel your pain re Haymarket! I made my August appointment yesterday when I was opening 17 and closing 10. Obviously we don’t know the exact date of next offering, or even if there is a next offering, but I have taken an educated guess! Good luck.0

Already tried that.... They haven't replied.Just e-mail for an appointment?

That's a good plan, if I ever get an appointment I think that I'll do that as well :beer:0 -
After a week since I first contacted them they finally got back to me.
The first date that they could fit me in is Friday 14th!!! Still, appointment finally booked.0 -
Me and the wife are opening our first VM RS today :-)
I already have other RS which are topped out so this will be my extra one I can't quite max out yet so I presume I will be ok to transfer money over as and when I can? It will be about £50-£100 per month0 -
as and when I can?
Yes, up to maximum of £250 in each month.0 -
Can you carry over your allowance?
I only put £240 in in May and only £50 in April so can I put £460 in for June?
Thanks, i’ve looked at the summary box on the website and it’s not explicit.0 -
Which part of "maximum calendar monthly deposit limit £250" and "If a monthly deposit results in your account going over the maximum £250 per calendar month deposit limit we will return the additional money to you" isn't explicit?

No, you can't carry over your monthly allowance. You can only pay in £250 in any calendar month.
Ok i’ve read it again, yes you’re right!
I think I was clinging to ‘maximum yearly deposit £3250’ in false hope! :rotfl:0 -

With the Haymarket branch, I call them and if they don't pick up the phone after 3 rings, I hang up and wait 5 mins and repeat. I always get to speak to someone on my 3rd or 4th attempt.
I never leave a message for them to call back because they either call you end of day or several days after you've left a message.0
