Thanks both, definitely had better weeks but could be a lot worse too.
Not a lot to report today, quite a ploddy work day, DH worked from home and the kids are pleased to get to the weekend DS2 has invited himself to Mums for a sleepover as he's missed not seeing her with us being unwell. He's an old soul & Mum and him are like 2 peas in a pod despite the 70+ years age gap so she really enjoys his company❤️
DS1 is enjoying temporarily being an only child and is currently playing a game with DH and has plans for watching Celebrity Traitors with us later. The weather is thoroughly miserable here so it's good we've all got some gentle fun activities to keep us occupied.
Still no update from NWide so presuming the switch won't be happening, also had a V parcel I've sold go missing and a parcel I've bought is missing so a few little frustrations this week. Hopefully they'll all get resolved soon 🤞
I claimed £5 from VYPR a couple of days ago which came through this morning so that's been added to today's PAD.

Enjoy the peace of DS being away overnight. If it’s anything like my house, the dynamic completely changes when one stays with Mum overnight. The staying over loves the attention, company and quiet, and those staying home enjoy a bit more freedom to talk uninterrupted 😂.

Well done on the £2ks!! Amazing progress 🤩Do you hope to clear BC this month?
We can add tr@itors to our list of common interests… love it. Claudia’s sarcasm is a vibe and they’ve got a great cast this year.
Hope DS enjoys his sleepover… we’ve found that too, the grandparents don’t particularly have favourites but some just gel particularly well and it’s so sweet to see 😍

Sorry to hear you’ve all been feeling rubbish! Lorna complaint with them on the switching bonus if needed, I was out of the switching window as I wasn’t aware of the criteria time limit (thought it was 30 days from switch and not 30 days from opening).
They told me I was no longer eligible so I logged a complaint and pretty quickly they where able to call back and sort it. Keep at it! Let me know if you need any help as it’s a big deal doing a switch on the bills account and a chunky bit of money to lose.
good luck 🤞 😊1 -
Thanks everyone
@Dakota_Rose that's exactly the same as our house, it was lovely to have a break from the bickering that comes when the boys are together.
@ohdearhowdidthathappen it would be amazing to clear the BCard this month but with half term in the mix I'm not going to put too much pressure on to do so, we'll see what happens. Totally loving the Traitors this year, it's fab, my personal highlight last night was Miranda's accidental dictator look when she came out of the grave 😂 can't say I'm a fan of the episode ending where it did though!
@BetterThanIDeserve thanks for popping in and for the insight. I've decided to see what happens on Tuesday which is when I'd ask the switch to go through and if nothing happens then I've got nothing to lose by putting a complaint in have I? Good luck on your journey too, I'll pop in on your diary to say hi soon 😊
Short shift at work today has been fairly painless, heading home soon. Have a couple of birthday cards to drop off for my sis-in-law and a friend who are celebrating tomorrow then will be a quick catch up with DH and the boys before DH goes out for a gig he has with his band. I'm keeping my fingers crossed I'll be able to watch a bit of Strictly if the boys can keep their bickering and snack/drink requests to a minimum 😂I'm not a big TV watcher but really enjoy having a bit of light entertainment to watch as autumn comes in.
In money news, I used £5 of the Ama3on gift cards I've saved for Xmas gifts to buy some mascara that was on offer so have offset that by adding £5 to the PAD today.

Well I managed to watch Strictly last night as the boys decided to build a den in DS1's room and watch the Minecraft movie (again!) DH's gig went well too, a good Saturday night for all of us 😊
Another short shift at work today, I'm in until 3 and so far it's been very uneventful, hence I'm on here 😆 I used to feel guilty about this but when we're busy our feet don't touch the ground so management don't mind us having a bit of down time as long as work isn't being left for anyone else. Might as well get my MSE fix while I have the chance!
I woke up to £4 cleared on V!nted, cashed that out and added to today's PAD, nothing much else happening on there, the lost parcels are still lost somewhere and 1 item still on it's way to be delivered. May look at refreshing the listings again this week, I'm sure I can create another bundle or 2 out of some of the single items currently listed as these seem to sell better.
Pro!ific remains painfully slow for me at the moment, I just seem to be getting lots of the 1 minute surveys at the moment. I have managed to crawl slowly to a balance of £5.03, hopefully will reach the £6 payout threshold soon 🤞

A day off today and a productive morning. Left the car parked near the boys school and walked the just under 1.5 miles home. Got 2 lots of washing done and hung up on airers; emptied and refilled the dishwasher; sorted recycling; cleaned out the fridge and kitchen work surfaces then dusted, mopped and hoovered the downstairs floors. It's so lovely when DH and the boys are out as I can just put some dance anthems on, sing and dance along badly and get all the boring chores done without interuption, living the dream 🤣
Just enjoying a cuppa and a sandwich and then will get the online groceries order sorted for tomorrow before I head back out around 230 to walk back to school. It's overcast and drizzly here today so not too unpleasant to be walking in and it's lovely to get some fresh air after being in the office the last 3 days. DS2 and I also spent some time outdoors yesterday as he wanted to go out on his bike so we had a lovely 90 minutes cycling (him) and walking (me) along a quiet cycle path near us.
Patience has paid off with Pro!ific as I've just cashed out £7.11 from them. Kept the 11p for my personal pot and added the £7 to today's PAD. Once the grocery order is sorted I should be able to cash out from JamD0nut too, all relatively small amounts to overpay but they really do add up and keep momentum going.
