The gig was really good, a real trip down memory lane as it was an indie band DH and I both loved in our teens. They're as talented as they ever were so we had a fab night. I was shattered driving home though, DH told me to put the window down so the fresh air would keep me alert 😂
I fell asleep not long after getting home around midnight then was rudely awoken around 5am by an intermittent beeping. It took me a little while to realise it was one of the smoke detector's 'low battery' warning so I had to grab the step ladders to retrieve the detector and replace the battery, thankfully we had a spare. I tried and failed to get back to sleep so it's been a tiring day at work today.
Unbelieveably DH was totally oblivious to everything that had happened until I told him later on, he honestly would sleep through an earthquake I'm sure!!!
The boys enjoyed their sleepover/general spoiling at Hotel Grandma last night 😉I've think they were allowed to stay up a lot later than normal as they both look tired, they're currently out playing with a neighbour's children so I'm keeping everything crossed they'll be happy to chill and watch a film while I watch Strictly later 🤞DH and his band have a gig tonight so that'll keep him occupied too.
I've used some of the Ama3on vouchers I've earned from receipt apps today to buy a few more Xmas gifts, £32 used so have transferred the equivalent to the CC.

Thanks @beanielou
Well having woken up to discover it's 2° outside 🥶 I've caved and finally put the heating on to warm the house through while everyone wakes up slowly.
We need to get on top of a few chores and homework so I'm hoping everyone gets onboard with these after breakfast (sausage baps today) and then we can get out and enjoy some cold but sunny fresh air 🤞
But first coffee...
