Well the kids set an alarm to watch the football, I wasn't too bothered but the alarm woke me up (thankfully DH had amended it to 2am when the delayed start was announced) so headed downstairs and got totally into the match and now I'm wondering how the heck I'm going to survive work until 5pm 😂 worth it though!
The boys fell asleep during the 2nd half so they'll catch up on the result when they get up.
School has said England kits could be worn today if they won so, as the kids went to bed wearing kits, they're already dressed for school, one less battle when they wake up 😂

Oh my days, I feel jet lagged. It's been a very busy day at work which hasn't helped but home now. DH equally tired but the boys are full of energy, it's potentially a bad combination 😂
Will be being terrible parents and making freezer based beige food for tea 🙈 we have had fruit in our packed lunches and more for after tea so we're not completely without nutrients today!
I do need to pop out to an in post locker nearby to pick up a parcel of t-shirts and hoodies I've ordered from V!nted for the kids, might see if I can persuade DS1 to go 🤞We also have an A$da delivery due between 8 & 9 then I'll be aiming for an early night.
No extra £'s for today's PAD so £2 sent to V12 today.

Well we got to bed time last night without any drama so that was a relief.
DS1 picked up the parcel and both boys were pleased with the contents, all slightly big on them both so should last a little while but all in really good condition.
A$da arrived before 8 so we had it all put away before it was even due 😂
Today has been a day in the office while DH WFH, which meant he could have tea on the table for us coming home so we could have a quick turnaround as I've just dropped DS1 at Cubs, DH will do the pick up, enjoying watching Argentina vs Egypt in the meantime.
No extra money earned for today's PAD, so just the daily £2 sent to V12.
On the plus side today was a NSD.

A well earned mid week day off today and the sun is not only out but it's warm. Naturally this means that the laundry I have been building up the last 3 days is washed and pegged out, all 3 loads of it 😂
After taking the boys to school I took Mum for her food shopping and enjoyed a cuppa & catch up in her fave cafe so have earned some good daughter points this morning. I've enjoyed pottering about outside since getting home and having a bit of peace before the boys need picked up from school and DH gets home.
We have the kids swimming lessons this evening, DS2 has moved up a stage so is looking forward to his first lesson with his new group and teacher. We're hoping to be able to make the most of the weather and eat & play outside once we're home.
A lovely debt milestone hit today, since returning to the diaries in May we've shaved £1000 off the debt. It feels unbelievable to say that! The extra overtime I've put in the last few months has massively helped along with the fact that May and June tend to be lower spend months for us too.
It'll be interesting to see how the next 2 months play out as there's no denying we spend more in July & August with the summer holidays. We also have DH & DS2's birthdays, both cars insurance renewals due and DH's car MOT due before September so hoping the pots will cover these. I've also got a bit less opportunity for overtime as have 2 weeks annual leave coming up. But, as long as the debt continues to go down then I will be pleased 🙂
No extra money earned for today's PAD again, so just the £2 sent to V12.

Thanks @beanielou & @ohdearhowdidthathappen 😊
Lovely day again here and another day off so Mum and I took the train to the nearest city and had a lovely mooch around the charity shops interspersed with regular cafe stops to keep hydrated. Picked up 2 shirts for DH and 6 books for the boys for the grand total of £9.50, bargain!
Treated myself to a bookmark (I know how to live 😂) as I've misplaced my usual one and have been using a receipt so thought I deserved a little upgrade.
DS2 had a mini football tournament with Beavers this evening. DS1 and I went along to cheer him on, only got home about 20 minutes ago so it's been a lovely pleasant day spent outdoors.
My car has been a little odd today so DH has taken it for a spin to see if he can spot any issues. He picked up a diagnostic tool a while ago so he's going to see if that highlights any issues. Fingers crossed it's the car having a hissy fit and nothing major 🤞
£3 from V!nted added to today's PAD so a total of £5 sent today.

Car seems to be okay thank goodness, although the air con has decided to pack in on this extremely hot day 😦
Day in the office today, lots of admin to do but not many customers, think the heat kept them away. Took advantage and kept Pro!ific open on my desktop and managed to nab a few surveys around work tasks, also got another payment from a V!nted sale so which has meant a very decent £27 PAD today.
The local secondary school had their prom tonight which I didn't realise. Wouldn't normally affect me but the meeting point for photos is close to Mum's house, which is where the boys head after school when I'm at work.
Unfortunately it's a small town and a combination of ridiculous parking and sheer volume of people gathering in one place meant it was impossible to get anywhere near Mums. I had to backtrack on myself back to the office then take a 2 mile detour back home and then wait for Mum to phone to say the roads were clear before going back out to pick the boys up. From me finishing work at 5, I got home at 550 |(normlly a 5 minute drive), then went back and rescued the boys at 630 😂
Luckily Mum made the boys some tea so they were fed as I was extremely hot and bothered doing so many diversions in a boiling hot car! DH has taken pity on me since returning home and has just kept me placated with ice lollies and cold drinks along with a lovely salad he'd made, very much appreciated. I think he felt bad as he's had a relatively relaxed WFH day today!
The boys have both come home with excellent end of year reports so they're very proud of themselves, as are we. Makes all the homework battles and hectic mornings worthwhile to get such good feedback ❤️
So thanks to the extra bits and bobs today Debt Total is now £4312 (V12 £562)
